#DigiTechF21A Thank you for a great semester! It was really nice getting to know some of you through our twitter conversations. Good luck with the rest of your finals and have a great Winter Break!
#DigiTechF21A One of my main takeaways from the course is the impact of technology on relationships. As technology continues to become a normality in society, people along with our interactions also adapt with it.
@ITILeifer@LudwigAhgren It’s pretty interesting to think that YouTube has managed to remain a solid competitor in its industry since it’s been around. It will definitely continue to upgrade with new trends. I’m not surprised to hear that it competes with Twitch for live streaming.
@chaosteven0 I didn’t think about how VR could be used in the workplace. But I think it would be pretty interesting if VR is utilized to train employees. I can imagine it being used to teach a number of hands on jobs.
#DigiTechF21A#TXC21 I would recommend to students who intend to connect with likeminded individuals on Twitter to use hashtags with specific keywords for what they’re looking for. Being specific will allow them to narrow down their search and find much more relatable content.
#digitechf21A#TXC21 The TXC Activity showed me how easy it is to communicate and connect with other students through Twitter. I was never a big Twitter user so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I learned a lot about the power of social media to connect with others.
@ITILeifer Time management is something we always tell ourselves we'll improve upon, but ends up not being a consistent habit. It takes time to build a schedule you can stick to, but once you have a routine and start managing your time more efficiently, life becomes less overwhelming.
@amanda_stellwag I didn't realize how much having a laptop has helped me with school. I also recently got an iPad and it is seriously life changing. I hardly take paper notes anymore and it makes organizing all my assignments/lessons much simpler.
@ashley_hubscher Finding a study space is so important! Sometimes isolating yourself is necessary to get work done. I'm guilty of meeting up with friends to "study" only to end up being unproductive for hours and having to cram all my work in a short amount of time afterwards.
@DerekDipierro I definitely agree. Staying on top of your work is so important because it allows you more time to focus on other priorities. Waiting last minute can take away from plan you otherwise could have made. It also adds pressure to your schedule that could have been avoided.
#DigiTechF21A#TXC21 The best way to succeed at Rutgers is to surround yourself with good company and prioritize your mental health! Making friends is not always easy, but when you do, it's totally worth it. Also, pulling all-nighters at the library is a no! Sleep!!
@FAMALX525 The big "R" is definitely symbolic of Rutgers. It is such a simple image, yet invokes many feelings. Just seeing cars with a Rutgers "R" bumper sticker or running into strangers with an "R" printed on their baseball caps allows Rutgers students and alumni to connect!
@jessicat_ru My first memories at Rutgers was meeting the mascot of Rutgers, when I volunteered at Basketball games as a high school senior. One definitely can't think of Rutgers without picturing Sir Henry in mind first. Although, if I'm being honest I had no idea his name was Sir Henry...
@JulianOleynik Truly, I can't imagine Rutgers without the Yard. Its like the NYC of Rutgers. The Yard has been a meeting spot for my friends and I throughout my experience at Rutgers. Just a few days ago I was watching the Bachelorette on the big screen with people I never met before.

The bus system at Rutgers captures my experience as a Scarlet Knight. The amount of times I was late for class because of overpacked buses is something I'll never forget about being a student here. However, the buses truly add to Rutgers' charm 😅
@NickPlatt1068 afford streaming services or technologies which allow access to these services. Keep in mind who is able to use these technologies and why "out-dated" services are still functioning in this day and age.
@NickPlatt1068 Maybe even touch on how streaming services or ebooks might only be accessible to certain families depending on financial situations/ income levels. Who are these companies catering too? Is it possible that libraries and movie theaters will always be around for those who can't...
