Child marriage is very high in the rural areas, were some parents marry out their children as in compensation for their depts. Poverty has lead many families into such decisions. @HayMovement @YHAG20 @TheGHAlliance

Despite the level of knowledge about the illegality and consequences of child marriage, the stigma of unintentional pregnancy for adolescent girls and young women is so high that child marriage is still used as a way of managing such situations.
