I am struggling with your grammar in certain respects:
1. “This is a complete nonsense.”
2. “Did Anthony Kila lied..”
3. “As a doctorate degree holder myself, it nauseating the way and manners…”
4. For those of us that truly earned our PhD Dr titles, couple with...”
What university is your PhD from, please and in what field?
Courtesy demands that if you are three in a group and one of you don’t understand your local language, use English to chat with your other friend that understands your local language, instead of making the other person feel left out or uncomfortable.
Some of you are badly raised.
Last year, one Sunday morning, I drove for Bolt to see how it works. I had registered months earlier when fuel was around ₦800.
I worked from 8 AM to 9 PM and made about ₦75,000 (roughly $50). I spent ₦50,000 on fuel, ₦11,000 on Bolt’s commission, and ₦4,000 on lunch at Chicken Republic. After some offline trips, I went home with less than ₦10,000 profit—almost nothing.
That day made me question many things in this country more deeply. I respect Bolt drivers and wonder how they survive. What if their car breaks down? Where will they find repair money?
Since then, when people criticise drivers for requesting offline trips or negotiating higher fares, I stay out of it. Most will never understand the reality. Why has Bolt refused to increase prices for them?
When people discussed Uber leaving Nigeria, I didn’t join. Drivers had stopped using Uber long ago because its commission was higher than Bolt’s and Indrive’s.
"President Tinubu has been campaigning for three years with his policies and has basically turned Nigeria into a construction site, everywhere you go to, you would find a major project. Lives have been touched, millions of students who wouldn't have had access to education now do through NELFUND"
