@bantamsbanter That's me in front, living in the moment through my phone, capturing 1 of the 40 odd videos I took that night π I must have been stood there gawping for 3 hours straight π€€
My dad's bought a Bradford City stained glass window/thing. Apparently it was removed from a pub but unsure how long ago. Does anyone remember seeing this in any of the pubs around Bradford? He's trying to suss out its history. #bcafc
@thecitygent@jpdewhirst@jgbillingsley Cheers Mike. Another idea that hadn't crossed our minds. I'll let him know. It's pretty old though. He's thinking possibly 1920s Art Deco.
@jpdewhirst@jgbillingsley@thecitygent Ahh ye that would be interesting. I've sent that idea on to him. Hopefully he can look into it. Thanks for replying John.
@IanWhit61565887 Yeah it's glass and lead. My dad seems to think it's Art Deco so dating back to around the 1920s. So would fit the style of the Haigy's building. But could have been installed in an older building during that era too.
@andy_rozee Yeah when you can see the light hit it it's definitely claret and amber. I thought the same when I first saw it too until I saw the colouring.
