In one occasion, Kathryn Kuhlman was preaching in a church and someone informed the pastor that she was divorced which led the pastor walking up to the front and grabbing the microphone from her and apologizing to the crowd for having a “false prophet” preaching, she was escorted by the ushers out of the church and ran off town. SHE WEPT!

On a rare occasion where Kathryn would address her past she made this comment about her peers during her crisis. “... You know sometimes it’s a thousand times easier to die physically than to keep on living. You see, the Lord forgives, but people don’t.

They’ll drive it in, and they’ll drive it in, and they’ll drive it in, and they’ll drive it in. And they’ll pierce your heart, and they’ll pierce it clear through.

So many have may have left ministry because of one thing or the other, you may have stopped pastoring, holding meetings or whatever form of ministry because of pressures, financial, marital or personal issues, but know that God uses these pressures to bring out His best in us.

Apostle Paul says; we are pressed on every side but not crushed, cast down but not destroyed. The promise always comes after the process.
From Kathryn’s example, We have learnt that no one is far too gone, no one is out of God’s use, and instead of driving the word of God against people that are under pressure,

Let's help them heal

Let's let them get back on track.

Stop posting things on social media like a show biz star...
Showing us your automobile, shoes, phones, furniture, etc.
What has that got to do with Christ? And His message!
Your ring? Your new devices? Expensive bags? Shirts?
You now fly first class or you now own a private jet?
You finished praying you post it, you are studying, you post it.
Too much show biz and entertainment on the pulpit.
Even show biz folks are now learning to change from this craze.

Like any other character flaw, indiscipline is a choice!

Department of Microbiology, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Sets up a state-of-the-art laboratory.

In the Department of Microbiology, a state-of-the-art laboratory specializing in molecular bacteriology and cell culture has been established. The molecular bacteriology section is equipped with essential tools such as a DNA extraction platform, Standard PCR Thermal Cyclers, a horizontal electrophoresis platform, a gel documentation system, and various supplementary devices. Complementing this, the cell culture laboratory features critical equipment like a biological safety cabinet, a TC20 automated cell counter (Bio-Rad), a flow cytometer (Accuri C6+) for cell sorting and quantification, and a microtiter plate reader (Bio-Rad).

This advanced laboratory was inaugurated by Professor Adebayo Shittu, who secured partial funding from the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) and supplemented it with his resources as a fellow of the Alexander von Humboldt (AvH) Foundation. According to Professor Shittu, these cutting-edge facilities open up opportunities for collaborative research in biomedical and clinical sciences and offer a valuable training ground for both undergraduate and graduate students at the University. Professor Shittu's research team is currently delving into the factors influencing the spread of Panton-Valentine Leukocidin (PVL)-positive Staphylococcus aureus in Africa, a project supported by the DFG.

The successful establishment of this laboratory was made possible through the dedicated support of the Department of Microbiology's staff, with a special acknowledgement to the former Head of the Department, Professor B.O. Omafuvbe, for their contributions to this initiative. Also, the collaboration of Professor Frieder Schaumburg (Director, Institute of Medical Microbiology, University of Münster), a long-standing research collaborator of Professor Shittu, the Universitätsklinikum Münster (UKM), and the Universität Münster, Germany is acknowledged.
