On Friday the first of two export cables, each 37km long, was installed at the nearshore of #Thorntonloch Beach as part of the construction of #NnG.

The installation is a significant milestone for the project and this drone footage shows the cable laying taking place.

@ABCOMarine, assisting the removal of 55,000m³ of silt.

The pontoons are supporting a long reach excavator, which is dredging thousands of tonnes of silt to improve drainage capacity.
