@Honeywell_Home if you have a 2 zone system, shouldn’t two T9 thermostats on the same network be able to see each other, so one zone (downstairs) doesn’t heat the other (up stairs) too much?
Been saving my last Tweet (been avoiding this hell site for a while) to pour one out for Dark Sky, the best weather app there was, and a really useful tool for those of us that live in places with actual weather.
@glideapps Probably for businesses, and I guess that’s who your going for. For individuals trying out a couple ideas it’s twice as expensive and less capable than what we had before.
Holy shit @glideapps what did you do with the plans? These new ones are terrible. I understand enterprise is where the money is, but you couldn’t leave a carve out for the individual makers who want to try out ideas? To keep what I had before I go from 25 a month to 100!
@glideapps The point is I went for a really excited customer paying you, and ready to pay for another idea or two, to actively exploring other options. 100 is just too much. Maybe I’m not the target customer and that’s fine, but disappointing.
@glideapps That may be fine (depending on what you do) but the row limits are another big change, 500 really isn’t much and goes quickly. Yes analytics is a huge problem and makes it unworkable (esp when it’s google analytics and you guys just host a tag) but the other changes aren’t great.
@glideapps The point is being able to pay 25, have enough updates to make something work, access to analytics to see if there is usage and some CSS customization doesn’t seem like too much to ask. Having to pay 100 for any sort of analytics is an absolute dealbreaker.
And I don't want to even talk about all the weirdos, cheering for him while he's puking.
I'm really tired of this world where everything good gets bought by a giant company or rich billionaire, and then ruined.
Looking at Mastodon but it doesn't seem like a real Twitter replacement. What worked about Twitter was everyone (even the dumbest richest users) and every topic were at the same level, so you didn't completely get stuck in a bubble.
It's pretty shocking how quickly Musk set fire to Twitter. It's not even about the rushed, poorly thought out features, it's him. Before he was just a rich asshole puking in the corner, now he's a rich asshole puking all over his living room while we watch. It's gross.
As Patagonia approaches its milestone 50th year as a company, its founder Yvon Chouinard has just delivered some seismic news:
He’s giving it away. https://t.co/3NS3cqBUFF
A little side project I’ve been putting together. It’s a quick app to show you what’s hatching in the driftless area now and in the future. Sort by color size, etc. #flyfishing#driftless
