January ABLE Meeting we had Husker Football Legend Grant Wistrom as our speaker. Grant and his wife have recently moved to Lincoln to follow his daughter’s soccer career at the U of Nebraska. He also started and owns Champ Roofing in Lincoln. Grant was a champ at every level!

I attended the Omaha Agribusiness Meeting to hear from @PSchaneman of the @NECornBoard on their Checkoff and the good work they do with those funds for our Nebraska Corn 🌽 Farmers. He spoke about the Trailblazer Pipeline to capture CO2 from ethanol plants in Nebraska and Iowa.

ABLE welcomes Russ Gronewold, the CEO of Bryan Health since 2020. He shared the history of their hospitals in Lincoln, NE plus their growth around our state. They focus on the 1 million Nebraska citizens that live outside of Omaha. They support 62 independent hospitals in NE.

At our ABLE Lincoln Meeting we are listening to John Skrett, superintendent for Lincoln Public Schools. He shared about his work history after graduating from the University of Nebraska and working out in the Norris School District before returning to LPS. #Education #Lincoln

ABLE-Lincoln is back from summer break with Suzi Gausman | CEO Nebraska Orthopaedic as our speaker. They run the busiest surgery center in Nebraska performing over 25,000 procedures a year, in +20 different operating rooms in Lincoln. New location by North Star High School.

Our ABLE Speaker for April was Jeff Maul of the Lincoln Convention Visitors Bureau @VisitLincolnNE Jeff was able to talk about a long awaited project for a large convention center in Lincoln at 13th St. & M Street to be built by 2029. This facility will have a 30k Sq. Ft. space

Our February ABLE Meeting was held @PinnacleArena and our speaker was Mayor Leirion Gaylor Baird of @CityOfLincoln She shared with us info on “Lincoln on The Move” to continue Lincoln’s Sales Tax to help fund road construction on Lincoln Streets. Lincoln continues to grow.

TMCO is growing and many of their employees are handicapped and refugees to America. They have a unique company culture but it is based and caring for their employees and their families!

At our October ABLE Meeting we had Diane Temme Stinton the CEO of TMCO the 2023 Nebraska Manufacturer of the year. They have over 450 customers in metal and create over 300,000 products for them. TMCO has advanced processes & creates parts for Tesla, Space X, Claas in Lincoln

Our ABLE Meeting for September we have Dr. Paul Gausman of @LPSorg Out of 14,600 school districts in the US, Lincoln Public Schools District is ranked #136. We have 20% of students who English is their 2nd language. Lincoln has grown but stayed together as a city. #Lincoln
