“Instead of going through the formality of introducing a 27th constitutional amendment through a sham parliament, it would be better to openly declare a monarchy, because what exists today is outright dictatorship, forcibly imposed on the country.

The very foundation of Pakistan was laid on La Ilaha Illallah (There is no god except Allah), a declaration that liberates mankind from all forms of slavery. Our country was freed from British rule through immense sacrifices to establish a nation where every citizen would enjoy personal liberties. But the situation is completely the opposite. A mafia seeks to keep the entire nation enslaved. I am willing to endure solitary confinement in a dark prison cell, but I will never accept slavery. And that is my message to everyone: it is better to choose imprisonment than to live in such bondage. What is the value of freedom if, outside these walls, we are not truly free? Iqbal’s Shaheen (eagle) soars high, it does not live in servitude.

I give this call to the entire nation, especially to the workers and supporters of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf: Launch a movement after Ashura against the tyrannical system that has gripped this country. For me, death would be better than accepting a system built on slavery.

Every attempt is being made to suppress my voice so that my message does not reach the people and no one dares to stand up against oppression. But I will resist tyranny until my very last breath. I have complete faith in my Creator that this shadow of injustice will soon be lifted from Pakistan.

There are four pillars integral to any democracy: the right to vote, the rule of law, moral integrity, and a free press. The 26th Constitutional Amendment has effectively dismantled all four:

1. The Right to Vote: A dictator has no need for public mandate; he governs through force. The illegitimate assemblies formed via Forms-47, and the subsequent distribution of reserved seats, have only reinforced the perception among the people that their votes hold no value.

2. The Rule of Law: The judiciary has been reduced to a subordinate department of the government. Courts are packed with handpicked judges, while independent judges have been silenced. This is a hallmark of martial law, not democracy.

3. Moral Fabric of Society: This amendment has buried all ethical values. Individuals who are not true representatives of the people now occupy seats in the assemblies. Horse-trading of assembly members continues with impunity, and even the judiciary operates under the thumb of this mafia.

4. Free Media: Under a dictatorship, the media is bound in chains. Freedom of expression has been entirely curbed. Independent journalists are being targeted, while the rest have been bought off.

Peaceful protest is a fundamental democratic and constitutional right. Yet, 26 of our MPAs were suspended for staging a protest in the Punjab Assembly. I commend Ahmad Bhachar and all PTI MPAs who had the courage to challenge these pharaohs. Until our 26 members are reinstated, our elected representatives should hold their own assembly outside. The Form-47-based assemblies do not represent the people, in any case.”

A Govt Minister has tweeted that a medicial board is being set up for Imran khan. Secondly, we are hearing in news that Imran Khan is to be shifted to Al Shifa eye hospital in Rawalpindi.

Our demand has been clear from the beginning. Imran khan shall not be given any treatment WITHOUT the presence and approval of his personal doctors and family members.

We do NOT accept any medical board they set up and control!

We do NOT accept any reports or results they manufacture.

Our family is getting extremely worried as to why they are resisting the selection of specialists advised by Imran Khan’s personal doctors.

Why are they rejecting the supervision by Imran Khan’s personal doctors?

Why such fierce resistance?

A detailed report by the “Amicus Curiae” appointed by the Supreme Court of Pakistan on the health and prison conditions of arbitrarily detained former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan reveals disturbing details of serious human rights violations, inhumane treatment, psychological torture, and deliberate medical neglect, which has resulted in 85% vision loss in his right eye. Here are some highlights from the report:

“The concept of a ‘hard state’ that Asim Munir is attempting to implement in Pakistan is entirely misguided. In its true sense, a “hard state” is one where the Constitution reigns supreme, justice remains independent, democratic freedoms are protected, and the national interest outweighs personal gain.

In contrast, Asim Munir’s notion of a ‘hard state’ signifies a system in which the pillars of democracy are dismantled and ‘Asim Law’ prevails. No ‘hard state’ can ever be established without the support and will of the people. The atrocities being perpetrated under ‘Asim Law’ are not strengthening the state. They are, in fact, eroding its very foundations. No country can become strong by turning its guns on its own citizens, as witnessed on November 26th (2024) and in Muridke, where the army, paramilitary Rangers, and the police opened fire on their own people.

The people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have given a clear and overwhelming mandate to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. This mandate grants me the constitutional and democratic authority to determine the province’s policies, for my accountability lies solely with the people. It is also the right of the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sohail Afridi, to ensure the implementation of the policies, formulated in consultation with me, for which the people reposed their trust and cast their votes in our favor.

During PTI’s tenure, prudent policies fostered peace across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and beyond. Yet, since the regime change, the nation has witnessed a consistent deterioration in stability. Over the past three years, I have consistently emphasized the need for wisdom and foresight in dealing with Afghanistan through peaceful means. The current strained relations with Afghanistan are deeply concerning. Hatred and confrontation serve no one’s interests; only policies framed by genuine representatives of the people can bring about a lasting solution to terrorism.

The baseless and fabricated cases against me are being deliberately prolonged. In the Al-Qadir University Trust case, justice has been systematically denied for the past ten months. After an extended delay, the case was finally scheduled for hearing, yet the decision on bail continues to be postponed. I instruct all PTI political leaders, members of assemblies, and lawyers to regularly attend and remain present during all court proceedings of my cases, and to continue their presence until justice is served. Participation in open-court hearings is your legal and democratic right.

During PTI’s tenure in government, Nawaz Sharif was allowed daily meetings with numerous political figures in jail, with unrestricted access to family members. Even formal dinners were arranged. In stark contrast, I am being held in complete isolation. There is no precedent for such political vendetta in Pakistan’s history.

I am not being provided the basic facilities guaranteed under prison regulations. Over the past ten months, I have been allowed to speak to my sons only once, and that too for two brief intervals of three minutes each. I am being deprived not only of my fundamental human rights but also of my rights as the head of a political party, to meet party officials and consult with them. Hurdles are constantly placed to obstruct my meetings with lawyers, political colleagues, and family members. This is a blatant violation of my fundamental and legal rights.���

“میں سہیل آفریدی کو خیبرپختونخوا کا وزیراعلیٰ بننے پر دلی مبارکباد پیش کرتا ہوں۔ سہیل آفریدی میرے آئی ایس ایف کے دیرینہ اور وفادار ساتھیوں میں سے ہیں۔ مجھے پوری امید ہے کہ وہ توقعات اور تحریک انصاف کے نظرئیے کے عین مطابق، بحیثیت چیف منسٹر خیبرپختونخوا میں انقلابی کام کریں گے۔ مجھے خوشی ہے کہ اس موقع پر علی امین گنڈا پور نے نہ��یت باوقار طریقے سے حکومت کی منتقلی یقینی بنائی

میں گزشتہ دو سال میں ہونے والے قتلِ عام کے چار بڑے واقعات جن میں 9 مئی، 26 نومبر، آزاد کشمیر اور مریدکے قتلِ عام شامل ہیں، پر جوڈیشل کمیشن کے قیام کا مطالبہ دہراتا ہوں۔ ان تمام واقعات میں بڑی تعداد میں نہتے شہریوں کو شہید کیا گیا۔

9 مئی فالس فلیگ کے حوالے سے میرا شروع سے یہی موقف ہے کہ واقعے کی سی سی ٹی وی فوٹیج پیش کی جائے اور آزادانہ و شفاف تحقیقات کے لیے جوڈیشل کمیشن قائم کیا جائے۔ جس پر افسوس ہے کہ کوئی عملدرآمد نہیں ہوا بلکہ الٹا متاثرہ فریق کیخلاف ہی جھوٹے مقدمات بنا کر بغیر شفاف تحقیقات اور ثبوت کے ملٹری کورٹس اور کینگرو کورٹس سے 10، 10 سال قید کی سزائیں سنائی گئیں۔ حالانکہ اس دن نہتے شہریوں اور سپورٹرز کو گولیوں کا نشانہ بنایا ��یا-

قتلِ عام کی یہی واردات 26 نومبر کو دہرائی گئی جب نہتے پرامن مظاہرین پر سیدھی گولیاں برسائی گئیں۔ اگر 9 مئی کے حقائق سامنے آجاتے تو 26 نومبر اور ��س جیسے واقعات نا ہوتے۔ پھر آزاد کشمیر اور اب مریدکے میں مظاہرین کو ریاستی بربریت کا نشانہ بنایا گیا۔ ان واقعات کی آزادانہ تحقیقات کیلئے جوڈیشل کمیشن کا قیام ناگزیر ہے تاکہ مظلوموں کو انصاف مل سکے اور قتلِ عام کے ذمہ داران کو قرار واقعی سزا دی جائے۔

اگر اب کی بار نہتے شہریوں کے قتلِ عام پر جوڈیشل کمیشن بنا کر شفاف تحقیقات نہ کی گئیں تو خدانخواستہ اگلا واقعہ اس سے بھی بڑا ہوگا کیونکہ ظلم و بربریت میں مسلسل اضافہ ہو رہا ہے۔

نماز جمعہ کے بعد خیبرپختونخوا میں ہمارے تمام کارکنان اور عوام مریدکے قتلِ عام کیخلاف نکلیں اور چاروں واقعات کے جوڈیشل کمیشن کے قیام کا مطالبہ کریں۔

آج ملک میں سب کچھ عاصم لاء کے تحت ہو رہا ہے- ساری عدالتیں فوجی عدالتوں میں بدل چکی ہیں، جیسے فوجی عدالتوں کو چلایا جاتا ہے ویسے ہی عام عدالتوں کو بھی چلایا جا رہا ہے۔

26ویں غیر آئینی ترمیم کے بعد عدالتوں سے انصاف کی توقع تقریباً ختم ہو چکی ہے۔ ملک میں بڑھتی لاقانونیت اور ناانصافی اسی ترمیم کا نتیجہ ہے- جسٹس قاضی فائز عیسیٰ، جسٹس امین الدین، جج عامر ��اروق، اور جج ڈوگر سب کے پاس ہمارے کیسز اور پٹیشن گئیں مگر کہیں سے انصاف نہیں ملا۔

عاصم منیر، قاضی فائز عیسٰی اور سکندر سلطان راجہ نے ہمارا مینڈیٹ چوری کر کے فارم 47 کی نااہل اور ناجائز حکومت پاکستان پر مسلط کی جن کے پاس پاکستان کو درپیش مسائل سے نکالنے کا نہ ہی کوئی وژن ہے، نہ اہلیت ہے اور نہ ہی کوئی اختیار۔ ان کی دہشتگردی کے مسئلے، امن کے قیام اور دیگر ممالک کے ساتھ تعلقات کے حوالے سے بھی اپنی کوئی سوچ اور پالیسی نہیں ہے-

تاریخ سے ثابت ہے کہ ملٹری ڈکٹیٹرز کا صرف بندوق کے زور پر ہر چیز کا حل نکالنے کا فارمولہ کبھی دیرپا اور کامیاب ثابت نہیں ہوا۔ افغانستان کے ساتھ مسئلے کا حل فوجی نہیں سیاسی ہے۔ لہذا یہ سیاستدانوں کی ذمہ داری ہے کہ وہ معاملہ فہمی سے ملک میں دیرپا امن کا قیام یقینی بنائیں۔ فارم 47 کی جعلی حکومت کا نہ ہی استحقاق ہے اور نہ اہلیت کہ وہ قیامِ امن میں مؤثر کردار ادا کرسکے۔ ہمارے دور میں دہشتگردی کم ترین سطح پر آ گئی تھی۔ مجھے پیرول پر رہا کیا جائے تو میں افغانستان سے تنازعات کے حل اور قیامِ امن کیلئے اپنا کردار ادا کرسکتا ہوں”

"خیبر پختونخوا حکومت میں تبدیلی کا عمل احسن طریقے سے مکمل ہونے پر اپنے تمام ممبران اسمبلی کو مبارکباد پیش کرتا ہوں۔ خیبرپختونخوا کے اراکین نے جس طرح نظرئیے پر ڈٹ کر، بنا کسی اگر مگر کے میرے نامزد کردہ وزیر اعلیٰ کو ووٹ دئیے ہیں، وہ قابلِ ستائش ہے۔ میں علی امین گنڈاپور کو بھی خراج تحسین پیش کرتا ہوں جنہوں نے بغیر کسی تردد کے ایک نہیں تین مرتبہ استعفیٰ دیا۔ یہ ہموار ٹرانزیشن اس بات کا ثبوت ہے کہ خیبر پختونخوا میں تحریک انصاف کے نظرئیے کا بول بالا ہے۔

سہیل آفریدی کو خصوصی پیغام دین�� چاہتا ہوں کہ وہ میرا اوپننگ بیٹسمین ہے لہٰذا اسے کھل کر کھیلنا چاہیئے۔

پاکستان تحریک انصاف ملک کی سب سے بڑی جماعت ہے اس سے منسلک لوگوں کو صرف اس لیے غدار کہہ دینا کہ وہ کسی پالیسی سے متفق نہیں انتہائی خطرناک عمل ہے۔ اس بنیاد پر غداری کے سرٹیفیکیٹ بانٹنے اور ریاست مخالفت کا لیبل لگانے والوں کی دکان بند ہونی چاہیے۔
بطور سیاستدان ایسی کسی بھی پالیسی پر تنقید کرنا میرا حق ہے جو عوام کے مفاد ، ملکی سالمیت اور جمہوریت کے خلاف ہو۔ ایسی ہر پالیسی کی مخالفت کی ہے اور کرتا رہوں گا جو ملکی مفاد کے خلاف ہو۔خیبرپختونخوا میں عوام نے ہمیں مینڈیٹ دیا ہے اور ہم ڈی جی آئی ایس پی آر کو نہیں خیبرپختونخوا کی عوام کو جوابدہ ہیں۔ اس لیے ہم پاکستان اور صوبے کی عوام کے مفاد کے خلاف کبھی نہیں جائیں گے۔

میری فوج سے کوئی دشمنی نہیں ہے۔ فوج بھی میری ہے، ملک بھی میرا ہے اور عوام بھی میری ہے۔ میرے اپنے خاندان کے کئی لوگ فوج سے تعلق رکھتے ہیں- 1965 کی جنگ میں ہمارے زمان پارک کے 8 میں سے 7 گھروں سے میرے خاندان کے لوگ فوج میں تھے اور ملک کا دفاع کر رہے تھے۔ مجھے افسوس ہوتا ہے جب دہشتگردی کی جنگ میں فوج کے سپاہیوں کا خون بہتا ہے مگر اس کے باوجود بد امنی قائم رہتی ہے اور دونوں طرف ہمارے لوگ مارے جاتے ہیں۔

تاریخ سے ثابت ہے کہ صرف ملٹری آپریشنز دہشتگردی کا حل نہیں ہیں۔ ہمارا اصولی موقف ہے کہ خیبرپختونخوا میں ملٹری آپریشنز قابل قبول نہیں ہیں کیونکہ اس میں “کولیٹرل ڈیمج” کے نام پر معصوم لوگ شہید ہوتے ہیں، اور وہ اپنے علاقوں سے دربدر ہوتے ہیں۔ کئی دہائیوں سے بڑے بڑے آپریشن کر کے دہشتگردی ختم کرنے کی کوشش میں ہیں مگر یہ ناسور ختم نہیں ہو رہا۔ ہر سال بہت سا ��یمتی خون بہہ رہا ہے، کبھی فوج اور پولیس فورسز کے اہلکاروں کی شہادتیں ہوتی ہیں تو کبھی معصوم شہری دہشتگردی کے واقعات میں جان کی بازی ہار جاتے ہیں۔

ہمیشہ کہا ہے کہ دہشتگردی کے مکمل خاتمے کے لیے بند کمروں کے فیصلوں کی بجائے ایک موثر، سیاسی بصیرت پر مبنی جامع حکمت عملی کی ضرورت ہے۔ سیاسی نمائندوں اور خیبرپختونخوا حکومت کی موجودگی اور مشاورت کے بغیر بنائی گئی کوئی بھی پالیسی قابل قبول نہیں۔ دہشتگردی کے خلاف پالیسی بناتے ہوئے تمام اہم اسٹیک ہولڈرز سے بات کی جائے چاہے وہ مقامی قبائل ہوں یا خیبرپختونخوا حکومت، وفاقی حکومت یا افغان حکومت۔ افغانستان کے ساتھ بات چیت کے بغیر دہشتگردی کا مسئلہ حل نہیں ہو سکتا۔

خیبرپختونخوا کی نئی حکومت کو ایک مرتبہ پھر سے ہدایت کرتا ہوں کہ دہشتگردی کے خلاف تمام فریقین کے ساتھ بات کر کے موثر اور جامع حکمت عملی بنائیں تاکہ صوبے میں موثر اور دیرپا امن قائم ہو اور نتیجتاً معیشت بحال ہو۔

ہر جمہوری معاشرے میں عوام کو احتجاج کا حق حاصل ہوتا ہے۔ نہتے لوگوں پر تشدد کرنا اور سیدھی گولیاں چلانا کسی طور قابل قبول نہیں ہے۔ تحریک لبیک کے ساتھ جو ظلم ہوا، تحریک انصاف تین سال سے یہی ظلم برداشت کر رہی ہے۔ 26 نومبر کو ڈی چوک میں بھی ایسے ہی خون کی ہولی کھیلی گئی جب ہمارے نہتے کارکنان پر سنائپرز سے گولیاں چلوائی گئیں۔ میں مریدکے سانحے میں بیہمانہ تشدد اور نہتی عوام کو گولیاں مارنے کی پر زور مذمت کرتا ہوں”

“خیبرپختونخوا کے حالات کے تناظر میں وزیراعلیٰ کی تبدیلی ناگزیر تھی اور یہ ایک آئینی عمل ہے جو اس ملک کے دیگر صوبوں میں بھی ہوتا آیا ہے اور اس میں کسی کو مداخلت نہیں کرنی چاہیئے تاکہ یہ عمل جلد از جلد مکمل ہو۔ اگر کسی نے اس میں مداخلت کی کوشش کی تو بھرپور احتجاج ہو گا۔

سہیل آفریدی کا انتخاب زمانہ طالب علمی سے ان کے آئی ایس ایف اور تحریک انصاف کے نظرئیے سے وابستگی کی وجہ سے کیا۔ یہ فیصلہ تحریک انصاف کی الیکٹیبلز کی جگہ گراس روٹ ورکرز کو فیصلہ سازی کے عمل میں شامل کرنے کے بیانیے کو بھی تقویت بخشتا ہے۔

خیبرپختونخوا کے وزیراعلیٰ کی تبدیلی کو بعض حلقے میرے خاندان کے افراد سے جوڑنے کی کوشش کر رہے ہیں، جو کہ سراسر غلط ہے۔ یہ فیصلہ مکمل طور پر سیاسی ہے، جس پر میرے خاندان کا کوئی فرد کسی بھی طرح سے اثر انداز نہیں ہوا۔ میرے خاندان کے کسی فرد کا میرے سیاسی فیصلوں سے کوئی تعلق نہیں ہے۔

علی امین میرے پرانے اور وفادار ساتھیوں میں سے ہیں لیکن وہ تنازعات کی زد میں ہیں۔ یہ تنازعات عاصم منیر کی کسی جامع سیاسی حکمت عملی اپنائے بغیر خالی گولہ بارود سے دہشتگردی کے مسئ��ے سے نمٹنے کی پالیسی کے باعث پیدا ہوا- 2025 دہشتگری کے واقعات کے حوالے سے پاکستانی تاریخ کا بدترین سال ہے اور خیبرپختونخوا کا صوبہ مزید اس صورتحال کا متحمل نہیں ہو سکتا۔ امید کرتا ہوں کہ نیا وزیراعلیٰ اور اس کی ٹیم دہشتگردی کے خاتمے اور دیرپا امن کے قیام کے حوالے سے عوامی نمائندوں کے ساتھ مل کر جامع پالیسی اپنائیں گے۔

میں گزشتہ دو دہائیوں سے دہشتگردی سے نمٹنے کی واضح حکمت عملی بیان کرتا رہا ہوں۔ اسی حکمت عملی کے باعث تحریک انصاف کے ساڑھے تین سالہ دور حکومت میں دہشتگری پر بہت حد تک قابو پا لیا گیا تھا۔تحریک انصاف نے اس وقت کی پاکستان مخالف اور بھارت نواز اشرف غنی حکو��ت سے بھی مذاکرات کئے اور قبائلی عوام اور افغان پناہ گزینوں کے معاملات بھی افہام وتفہیم سے طے کئے۔

2021 میں اس وقت کی فوجی قیادت نے ہتھیار پھینکنے والے دہشتگردوں کو واپس بسانے کا منصوبہ پیش کیا تھا، مگر اس منصوبے کو خیبرپختونخوا اور قبائلی علاقوں کے ہمارے منتخب نمائندوں نے مسترد کر دیا تھا- اس منصوبے پر ہمارے دور میں عمل نہیں ہوا۔ لیکن اب حقائق کے برعکس تحریک انصاف کی حکومت پر یہ سراسر جھوٹا الزام لگایا جا رہا ہے کہ ملک میں دہشتگردی اس دور میں بسائے گئے دہشتگردوں کی وجہ سے پیدا ہوئی ہے۔ قوم کو بتایا جائے کہ کون سے دہشتگرد کب، کہاں اور کیسے بسائے گئے؟

کبھی یہ کہا جاتا ہے پاکستان میں دہشتگردی کی ذمہ دار افغان حکومت ہے جس کی تائید سے افغانستان میں بسنے والے دہشتگرد پاکستان میں کاروائیاں کرتے ہیں اور کبھی کہا جاتا ہے کہ دہشتگردی دہائیوں سے پاکستان میں بسنے والے افغان مہاجرین کی وجہ سے ہے۔ یہ دونوں باتیں ہی غلط ہیں کیونکہ لاکھوں افغان مہاجرین کو بے عزت اور رسوا کر کے نکالنے کے باوجود دہشتگردی بڑھتی جا رہی ہے۔ یہ متضاد بیانات عاصم منیر کے مسلط کردہ عوام دشمن نظام کی بد حواسی کو ظاہر کرتے ہیں۔

دہشتگردی سے نمٹنے کے حوالے سے میرا موقف ہمیشہ سے دوٹوک رہا ہے۔ تاریخ بھی گواہ ہے دہشتگردی کے خلاف اگر باقاعدہ سیاسی بصیرت اور حکمت عملی کے بجائے صرف طاقت کا استعمال کیا جائے تو ناکامی ہی مقدر بنتی ہے۔ ملٹری آپریشن کے نتیجے میں ہونے والا “کولیٹرل ڈیمج “ عوام کو انتقاماً ہتھیار اٹھانے پر مجبور کر دیتا ہے اور یوں یہ سلسلہ بد سے بدتر ہوتا چلا جاتا ہے۔

“The circumstances in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa necessitated a change in the Chief Minister, a step fully in line with the constitutional process followed in other provinces as well. This process must be allowed to proceed without interference, ensuring its timely completion. Any attempt to interfere in this process will be met with a vigorous public protest.

Sohail Afridi was chosen because of his long-standing affiliation, dating back to his student days with ISF, and the ideology of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. This decision also reinforces the narrative of involving grassroots workers in decision-making instead of relying solely on electables.

Attempts by certain quarters to link the change in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Chief Minister to my family are completely unfounded. The decision is purely political and no member of my family in any way influenced it. No family member has any connection to my political decisions.

Ali Amin is among my old and loyal associates, but he is embroiled in disputes. These disputes from Asim Munir’s policy of confronting terrorism through empty displays of force rather than a comprehensive political strategy. The year 2025 marks the worst period in Pakistan’s history in terms of terrorist incidents, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa can no longer withstand the crisis. I hope the new Chief Minister and his team will work with public representatives to adopt a comprehensive policy aimed at eliminating terrorism and establishing lasting peace.

For the past two decades I have consistently outlined a clear strategy to combat terrorism. Because of that strategy, terrorism was largely brought under control during Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s three-and-a-half-year government. At that time, PTI even negotiated with the then anti-Pakistan and India-aligned Ashraf Ghani government, and issues involving tribal communities and Afghan refugees were resolved through understanding.

In 2021, the military leadership at the time proposed a plan for the resettlement of militants who had laid down their arms. However, our elected representatives from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the tribal areas opposed it, and therefore it was never implemented during our tenure. Yet, contrary to these facts, the PTI government is being falsely accused of having allowed terrorists to be settled in the country and thereby causing the present wave of terrorism. If these accusations hold any truth, the nation deserves to know precisely which terrorists were resettled, and the details of when, where, and how.

At times, it is alleged that the Afghan government is responsible for terrorism in Pakistan because militants based in Afghanistan carry out operations here; at other times it is claimed that decades-long settlement of Afghan migrants in Pakistan is responsible. Both claims are unfounded, for even after the disgraceful expulsion of millions of Afghan refugees, terrorism has only intensified. Such contradictions leave no doubt about the ill intentions behind the Asim Munir-imposed system and its hostility toward the people.

My position on confronting terrorism has always been unequivocal. History has proven time and again that when force replaces political foresight and strategy, failure is the only outcome. Collateral damage resulting from military operations often forces the public, in revenge, to take up arms, perpetuating a cycle that grows progressively worse.

Politically motivated reprisals have produced a stream of baseless cases against me, repeatedly refiled. Cases large and small, including Tosha Khana, Al-Qadir, cipher, iddat, and again Tosha Khana, have been brought against me and my wife, Bushra Bibi, solely to coerce me into abandoning my commitment to true freedom. I want to send my nation this message once more: no matter what they do, I will not bow before them, nor will I allow my nation to bow.”

“I am deeply saddened by the loss of precious lives in today’s terrorist incident in the Orakzai region. Whether they are civilians, police officers, or army personnel, it is our own people, who are being martyred in these military operations. Among those martyred today were a Colonel and a Major, which is extremely tragic. Offering prayers for the elevation of all the martyrs’ ranks in Jannah and for the swift recovery of those injured.

The flawed policies and mistaken priorities of the mafia presently imposed on the nation have led Pakistan, especially Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, into an alarming and unprecedented wave of terrorism. Even though two months still remain, this year Pakistan has witnessed a record number of terrorist incidents, resulting in an enormous loss of life on a scale difficult to find precedent for. I have repeatedly stated that the complete eradication of terrorism in Pakistan, including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, is impossible without dialogue among four key stakeholders: the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, the people of the tribal areas, the Afghan government, and the Afghan people. The current regime’s policy of conflict and confrontation is only worsening the situation.

I have repeatedly directed the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government to oppose unnecessary military operations initiated against our own citizens. Peace had been restored across these regions during our tenure. It is deeply regrettable that the current Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has failed to implement my vision for peace and has been unable to distance itself from the war-driven policies of the federal government and security agencies, as it should have. In these circumstances, there is no option left but to bring a change in the provincial government. I therefore announce the appointment of Sohail Afridi as the new Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The policy of fighting terrorism through drone strikes, jet bombings, and mortar shelling is a profoundly foolish strategy that has kept the nation trapped in a vicious cycle of terrorism. After today’s terrorist attack and the resulting martyrdoms, our security forces will inevitably retaliate, which will provoke a counter-response, and the cycle will continue endlessly.

During our three-and-a-half-year tenure, terrorism was at its lowest level in Pakistan’s history, even though Afghanistan was then under the pro-India and anti-Pakistan Ashraf Ghani regime. I personally visited Afghanistan and invited Ashraf Ghani to Pakistan in an effort to improve bilateral relations. Due to our practical measures and effective diplomacy, the country was spared the kind of instability we are witnessing today.

In contrast, the current rulers, who have unlawfully seized power, have completely failed to engage with the new government in Afghanistan (to secure Pakistan’s interests). Instead, after forty years of hospitality, Afghan refugees have been humiliated and forcibly expelled in a deeply painful manner. Bilawal Bhutto held the position of Foreign Minister for over a year and traveled across the world; yet at this most critical juncture in history, he did not visit Kabul even once, nor did he take any step to improve relations with the Afghan government.

For lasting peace, it is essential that this issue be viewed in a broader perspective, and that all stakeholders come together to resolve matters through dialogue and mutual understanding. I am confident that the change in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s leadership will mark a new beginning. Support from public representatives, tribal elders, and local jirgas will be sought, and all parties will engage in constructive dialogue to eradicate terrorism from its roots and find a durable solution. 1/2

میرا جواب یہ ہے کہ تحریک انصاف حکومت کے دوران دانشمندانہ پالیسی اپنا کر پاکستان خصوصاْ قبائلی علاقوں میں سب سے زیادہ امن قائم ہوا۔ اور اب ایک مرتبہ پھر آپریشن کے ذریعے حالات کو مزید بگاڑ کی طرف بڑھتے دیکھ کر میں خاموش رہ کر اپنے لوگوں کو آگ میں جلتا ہوا نہیں دیکھ سکتا۔

تحریک انصاف کی حکومت کے دوران افغانستان میں پاکستان مخالف اشرف غنی کی حکومت تھی۔ افغانستان کی NDS اس وقت انڈیا کے ساتھ بہت قریب رہ کر کام کر رہی تھی اور وہ پاکستان کے خلاف تھے- ہم نے ان سے بھی مذاکرات کیے- میں افغانستان گیا اور اشرف غنی کو قیام امن کی خاطر پاکستان بلایا جس سے قبائلی علاقوں کا امن بحال ہوا اور وہاں ایک عرصے بعد استحکام کا ماحول قائم ہونے لگا تھا۔ اس وقت آئی ایس آئی کی بھی یہی پالیسی تھی۔ لیکن جیسے ہی عاصم منیر چیف بنا اس نے پاکستان دوست افغان حکومت کو دھمکیاں دیں اور جان بوجھ کر حالات خراب کیے۔ صرف یہی نہیں، تین نسلوں سے یہاں رہنے والے افغان مہاجرین کو زبردستی ملک بدر کیا اور وہاں ڈرون حملے کیے جس سے دونوں ممالک کے تعلقات خراب ہوئے اور خیبرپختونخوا اور قبائلی علاقہ جات کا امن برباد ہوا۔ جب تک یہ خطے کے چاروں فریقین یعنی افغان حکومت اور افغان عوام ، پاکستان کی حکومت اور خیبر پختونخوا کے لوگ مل کر نہیں بیٹھیں گے، امن نہیں آئے گا۔ تاریخ بتاتی ہے کہ ملٹری آپریشنز سے جتنا مرضی زور لگا لیں امن قائم نہیں ہوتا-

تیسرا سوال کیا گیا کہ “عاصم لاء کیا ہے”؟
تو میرا جواب ہے کہ ملک میں جو بھی بربادی ہے وہ عاصم لاء کے تحت ہے اور یہ کوئی پراپیگنڈا نہیں بلکہ زمینی حقائق پر مبنی بات ہے۔ سب سے پہلے مجھے رینجرز نے احاطہ عدالت سے اغواء کیا اور نو مئی کا فالس فلیگ کروایا گیا۔ نو مئی کا آپریشن باقاعدہ منصوبہ بندی سے کیا گیا ورنہ چند گھنٹوں میں تحریک انصاف کے دس ہزار لوگ گرفتار نہ کیے جاتے۔ سی سی ٹی وی بھی اصل مجرموں سے توجہ ہٹانے کے لیے غائب کی گئی۔ اس کے بعد جو پریس کانفرنس کرتا اس کو آزادی مل جاتی اور جو تحریک انصاف کا ساتھ دیتا رہتا اس کو ہراساں کی جانے کی کوئی کوشش چھوڑی نہیں جاتی۔ اس منصوبے کو استعمال کر کے نا صرف تحریک انصاف کو کچلا گیا بلکہ انسانی حقوق کی بھی دھجیاں بکھیر دی گئیں۔اس کے بعد عوام نے ہمیں دو تہائی مینڈیٹ دیا جسے چوری کر کے ان چوروں کو ملک پر م��لط کر دیا گیا جن کی کرپشن کی داستانیں آئی ایس آئی خود مجھے سناتی تھی۔ پھر جس الیکشن کمشنر پر آرٹیکل 6 لگناچاہیے تھا اسے نو ماہ کی ایکسٹینشن دے دی گئی۔ فارم 47 ایوان کے ذریعے چھبیسویں ترمیم منظور کروائی گئی اور ایسے ضمیر فروش ججز کو اوپر لایا گیا جن سے انصاف کی کوئی امید نہیں بچی۔ ہر ادارے کو تباہ کر دیا گیا ہے۔

وہ آئی ایس آئی جو تحریک انصاف دور میں افغانستان کے ساتھ امن کے لیے کام کر رہی تھی، اب محض عاصم منیر کی ذاتی مافیا بن کر رہ گئی ہے، جس کی واحد ڈیوٹی کسی بھی طریقے سے تحریک انصاف کو کچلنا ہے۔ یہ سب عاصم لاء کے تحت ہو رہا ہے -

مجھ سے چوتھا سوال کیا گیا کہ سقوط ڈھاکہ کا حوالہ کیوں دیا اور عاصم منیر کو یحییٰ خان سے تشبیہہ کیوں دیتا ہوں؟

میرا جواب ہے کہ مجیب الرحمٰن اور یحیٰی خان کے بارے میں جو بھی میں کہتا ہوں وہ حمود الرحمان کمیشن میں درج ہے اور تاریخ کا حصہ ہے کہ کیسے یحیٰی خان نے اپنے اقتدار کو طوالت دینے کے لیے مجیب الرحمان کی اکثریتی پارٹی کو حکومت دینے کی بجائے ان پر ملٹری آپریشن شروع کر دیا اور ملک توڑ دیا۔ ایک دن مجیب الرحمٰن سے مذاکرات ہو رہے تھے اور اگلے ہی دن ب��گالیوں پر آپریشن لانچ کر دیا۔ آج کل وہی یہاں ہو رہا ہے، جو کام یحیٰی خان نے 1971 میں کیا وہی سب عاصم منیر بھی کر رہا ہے، جس سے ملک میں قانون اور آئین کا جنازہ اٹھ چکا ہے۔

مجھ سے پانچواں سوال کیا گیا کہ میں یہ کیوں کہتا ہوں کہ مجھ پر ذہنی تشدد ہو رہا ہے؟

The key witness, whose testimony formed the very basis of this case, has been conclusively discredited in court. There is no justification for dragging this case any further, especially since the prosecution’s own witnesses, Brigadier Ahmed and Colonel Rehan, has testified that the documents of the gifts taken from Toshakhana were complete. Yet, despite all evidence and government witnesses being discredited, the hearings continue. If this were not a matter of political vendetta, both Bushra Begum and I should be acquitted of this baseless case within the week. On Thursday, a date was finally set for the Al-Qadir case as well. I still hope that the court, guided by merit and law, will deliver justice in these cases and grant me release from this fabricated charge.

Mohsin Naqvi has done to cricket what Asim Munir has done to Pakistan, left it in ruins. Every institution in Pakistan is currently in a state of collapse. Cricket, the sport that unites and inspires the nation, has suffered steadily since it was placed under the stewardship of Mohsin Naqvi. In 2021, the Pakistan team had defeated India by 10 wickets and was a confident side at that time.

The only way they can win a match is if Asim Munir and Mohsin Naqvi are sent in as opening batsmen, Sikandar Sultan Raja and Qazi Faez Isa are made the on-field umpires, and Dogar is appointed as the third umpire, because under the current setup, this seems to be their only way of winning.

Asim Munir should reflect on everything he has done just to prolong his illegitimate rule.

First, democracy was dismantled, a false flag operation on May 9 was staged to crush the country’s largest political party. Then, on February 8 (2024), the two-thirds majority vote that the people had given to me in the elections was stolen and power was handed over to the same thieves who have done nothing except loot the nation’s wealth. Despite being a dictator, Musharraf still had some degree of public support for two reasons: first, he had freed the media; second, he was holding the country’s two most corrupt families, the Sharifs and the Zardaris accountable. Now, by once again imposing this convicted corrupt mafia on the nation, the country has been pushed back by decades.

Secondly, through the 26th Amendment, the independence of the judiciary has been stripped away, turning it into just another state-controlled institution. Yet, those judges who still stand firm today for the rule of law and the supremacy of the Constitution are truly commendable. They are the heroes of the entire nation, and the whole country stands behind them for raising the banner of truth even in these most difficult times. On the other hand, those judges who have bowed before Asim Munir will never be forgiven, neither by history, nor by this nation.

Thirdly, the moral order has been dismantled, and human rights are being grievously violated. Innocent citizens have been imprisoned, subjected to military trials, and handed unlawful sentences, all without fear of accountability.

I want to send a message to my party, especially Ali Amin, Barrister Saif, and Barrister Gohar to completely cut off all contact with the establishment. If the establishment has anything to say, let them come to Adiala Jail and speak with me. The more you try to negotiate with them, the more they escalate their cruelty and try to crush our party.

What an inhumane act it is that innocent prisoner Qasim Khokhar, who had been jailed in Gujranwala for two years, was denied timely medical treatment, leading to his death in prison. Previously, several other workers have also died after being released from jail. I extend my heartfelt condolences to their families.

جنرل یحیٰی خان کو فوج نے ملک چلانے کے لیے منتخب نہیں کیا تھا بلکہ اس نے فوج کا کندھا استعمال کر کے ڈکٹیٹر شپ کی اور ملک میں ظلم و جبر کا بازار گرم کیا۔ اپنے دس سالہ اقتدار کی لالچ میں اس نے ملک دو لخت کر دیا۔ آج عاصم منیر بھی اسی طرز پر فوج کا کندھا استعمال کر کے ملک میں لاقانونیت اور فسطائیت کا ماحول بنائے ہوئے ہے۔

عاصم منیر نے اپنے دس سالہ ناجائز اقتدار کے لیے کیا کچھ نہیں کیا۔ سب سے پہلے جمہوریت کا گلا دبوچا، نو مئی کا فالس فلیگ کر کے ملک کی سب سے بڑی سیاسی جماعت کو کچلا گیا، پھر 8 فروری کو انتخابات میں عوام نے جب تحریک انصاف کو بڑی تعداد میں ووٹ ڈالے اور تحریک انصاف نے کلین سویپ کیا تو اس مینڈیٹ کو بے شرمی سے چرا لیا گیا۔ عوام کا مینڈیٹ چرا کر سزا یافتہ لوگوں کو اقتدار دے دیا گیا۔ اس کے بعد عدلیہ کو مفلوج کیا گیا اور چھبیسویں ترمیم کے ذریعے ججز کے ہاتھ پاؤں با��دھ دئیے گئے۔ عدلیہ کو سرکاری ادارے میں تبدیل کر دیا گیا ہے۔

تیسرے نمبر پر میڈیا کی آزادی پر قدغن لگا دی گئی ہے، آزاد میڈیا کا تصور پاکستان سے بالکل ختم ہو چکا ہے۔ نہایت مشکل سے پاکستان میں جیسی تیسی جمہوریت کے تسلسل سے یہ دو چیزیں، کسی حد تک خود مختار عدلیہ اور آزاد میڈیا تھا، مگر عاصم منیر کی وجہ سے ان دونوں کا خاتمہ ہو چکا ہے۔ ملک میں اس وقت جمہوریت معطل ہے، انسانی حقوق کی پامالی عروج پر ہے، عدلیہ غلام اور میڈیا خوفزدہ ہے۔

عاصم منیر جب سے چیف بنا ہے افغانستان کے ساتھ حالات خراب کرنے کی کوشش میں ہے۔ چیف بنتے ہی پہلے افغانستان کو دھمکیاں لگائیں، پھر تین نسلوں سے مقیم افغانیوں کو ملک سے دھکے دے کر باہر نکالا پھر وہاں ڈرون حملے کیے اور پوری کوشش کی کہ ان کو اکسا کر پاکستان سے جنگ کروائی جائے اور پاکستان میں دہشتگردی کا ماحول بنایا جا سکے تاکہ مغرب میں موجودہ افغان حکومت کی مخالف لابیز کو "مجاہد" بن کر دکھا سکے کہ میں ہی ہوں جو دہشتگردی کے خلاف جنگ لڑ سکتا ہوں۔

جبر کے اسی نظام کے باعث پاکستان میں اس وقت معیشت بھی تاریخی سست روی کا شکار ہے۔ بیرونی سرمایہ کاری بالکل صفر ہے۔ پاکستان کی تاریخ میں کبھی اتنی کم سرمایہ کاری نہیں آئی جتنی اس دور میں ہوئی۔ تین سال میں ملک پر قرضہ دگنا ہو چکا ہے۔ ہر پاکستانی اس وقت قرضے کی دلدل میں دھنسا ہوا ہے۔ جب تک ملک میں عوامی حکومت قائم نہیں ہو گی معاشی مسائل کا حل ممکن نہیں ہے۔

ملک میں اخلاقیات کا جو جنازہ اٹھا ہوا ہے اس کی بھی مثال تاریخ میں نہیں ملتی۔ جو کام جنگوں میں بھی نہیں ہوتے وہ یہاں عوام کے ساتھ کیے گئے ہیں۔ عورتوں کو سڑکوں پر گھسیٹا گیا ہے، بچوں کو اٹھا کر ہراساں کیا گیا، بزرگوں کا تقدس پامال کیا گیا ہے۔ کبھی کسی سیاستدان کے گھر کی غیر سیاسی خواتین کے ساتھ ایسا نہیں کیا گیا جو میری اہلیہ اور دیگر گھر والوں کے ساتھ کیا گیا ہے۔ جب ملک کا اقتدار ان چور لٹیروں کے ہاتھوں میں دے دیا جائے گا جن کی کرپشن کی داستانوں سے بچہ بچہ واقف ہے تو اخلاقیات ایسے ہی تباہ ہوں گی”

“My message for Asim Munir is that, as believers in ‘La ilaha illallah, Muhammadur Rasulullah (There is no God but Allah and Mohammad [Peace Be Upon Him] is His messenger)’ we have pledged that, as long as we are alive, we will not bow down before the cruelty of Yazid or the tyranny of the Pharaoh, because bowing down to any being other than Allah is ‘shirk’ (associating partners with God). The psychological torture being inflicted on me and Bushra Begum in prison is being carried out by Asim Munir, and the sole purpose is to make us break down and submit.

The army did not choose General Yahya Khan to govern the country; rather, he used the army to establish a dictatorship, and unleashed a reign of oppression and tyranny upon the nation. In his greed to rule for ten years, he split our country apart. Today, Asim Munir is also doing the same: using the army to create an atmosphere of lawlessness and fascism in our country.

Asim Munir has left no stone unturned for the extension of his illegitimate rule for ten years. First, he strangled democracy. By staging the false flag of May 9th (2023) he attempted to crush the country’s largest political party. Then, on February 8th (2024), when people voted in large numbers for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf to give the party a clean sweep, that election was shamelessly stolen. The people’s mandate was taken and handed to convicted criminals. After that, the judiciary was incapacitated and, through the 26th Amendment, judges were subjugated. The judiciary has been turned into nothing but a subordinate department of the government.

Thirdly, restrictions were placed on the freedom of the media. The notion of a free press in Pakistan has been eradicated. The tenuous hold of democracy that existed in Pakistan — consisting, to some degree, of an independent judiciary and a free media — has been terminated by Asim Munir. Democracy in the country is suspended, human rights violations are at their peak, the judiciary is subservient, and the media is intimidated.

Ever since Asim Munir took over as Army Chief, he has been attempting to sour relations with Afghanistan. Upon taking office, he first issued threats to Afghanistan, then expelled Afghan nationals who had lived here for three generations, followed by drone strikes there, making every effort to provoke them into fighting Pakistan, creating a climate of terrorism. He is doing this to portray himself as a “mujahid” (warrior) to lobbies in the West that oppose the current Afghan government, in order to convince them that he is the one who can fight the war against terrorism.

Because of this oppression, Pakistan’s economy is experiencing historically slow growth. Foreign investment is virtually zero. Never in Pakistan’s history has investment been as low as it is at this time. In three years the national debt has doubled. Every Pakistani is now trapped in a quagmire of debt. Until a government of the people is established, it will not be possible to solve the country's economic challenges.

The extent of moral decay in our country is unprecedented. Atrocities have been inflicted upon people here that are not even seen in wartime. Women have been dragged in the streets, children have been seized and harassed, and the sanctity of the elderly has been violated. Never before have any politician's non-political female relatives been treated as badly as my wife and other family members have been. When a state is handed over to thieves and plunderers, tales of whose corruption every child knows, morality is bound to be destroyed like this.”

“Prior to the elections, although an atmosphere of fear prevailed, I had predicted that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf would achieve a clean sweep, and that is exactly what happened. Today I am making another prediction: the injustice, oppression, fascism, lawlessness, and economic devastation in our country are propelling Pakistan rapidly towards a situation like the one seen in Nepal, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka.

I instruct all PTI parliamentarians and party officials: now is the time to perform as the genuine opposition. Whoever does not do so, will dig their own political grave because that is what the people expect. We sought legal remedies against every injustice, including the theft of our mandate, but did not get justice; therefore, now is the time to stand firmly in opposition. The more you cooperate, the more you will be oppressed. Those who do not resolutely stand against this dispensation will dig their own political graves.

I call upon the entire nation to focus their attention on the Peshawar rally to be held on September 27th. People from across the country should participate in this gathering and raise their voices against oppression.”
