@abtech_cc's new ABM Works initiative will connect students across Asheville City Schools, Buncombe County Schools and Madison County Schools with internships, pre-apprenticeships and career-focused training in high-demand fields.
The model draws inspiration from @SurYadWorks, which myFutureNC was proud to recognize as a 2026 Champion for Attainment for its innovative regional approach to connecting students with real-world work experiences and career pathways.
myFutureNC was honored to help catalyze this work by connecting partners and resources, and we’re excited to see it moving forward in Western North Carolina.
This is attainment in action: sharing what works, building strong partnerships and creating clearer pathways from education to meaningful careers across North Carolina.
