International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction
There is no how you will analyze disaster risk without including the significance of the government in the equation. Not all disasters are natural, many are the consequences of our handiwork.
The ABU Millennium fellows implore the government and all stakeholders to set clear vision, plans and strategies for the sustainable implementation of the plans by empowering competent institutions to embark on scientific research on how to reduce disaster risks for public good.
