अभाविप के पूर्व राष्ट्रीय महामंत्री एवं बिहार के उपमुख्यमंत्री रहे सुशील कुमार मोदी जी के निधन का समाचार अत्यंत दुःखद है।

सुशील कुमार मोदी जी ने विद्यार्थी जीवन में बिहार में छात्र आंदोलन को एक नई दिशा देने का कार्य किया था। आपातकाल के दौरान लोकतंत्र की बहाली के लिए वे मीसा के तहत गिरफ्तार किए गए और कई माह तक जेल में भी रहे।

अभाविप, सुशील कुमार मोदी जी के निधन पर उन्हें भावभीनी श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित करते हुए ईश्वर से पुण्यात्मा को अपने श्री चरणों में स्थान देने और परिवारजनों को यह पीड़ा सहन करने का संबल प्रदान करने की प्रार्थना करती है।

यादवपुर (Jadavpur) विश्वविद्यालय में छात्र हित हो प्राथमिकता, विवाद दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण : अभाविप

'यादवपुर विश्वविद्यालय के व्यापक हित में राजभवन, राज्य सरकार व विवि प्रशासन करें मर्यादापूर्ण व्यवहार: याज्ञवल्क्य शुक्ल।'

पश्चिम बंगाल की राजधानी कोलकाता स्थित देश के प्रतिष्ठित शिक्षण संस्थान यादवपुर (Jadavpur) विश्वविद्यालय में पिछले बहत्तर घंटों में हुआ प्रशासनिक विवाद दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण तथा अप्रीतिकर है। शैक्षणिक संस्थान में इस प्रकार के विवाद से अशोभनीय एवं अनुचित स्थिति निर्मित होती है, जो कि ठीक नहीं है। अखिल भारतीय विद्यार्थी परिषद का स्पष्ट मत है कि छात्र हितों को प्राथमिकता में रखना चाहिए। सभी पक्षों को शिक्षा जगत के अनुरूप अपनी गरिमा का ध्यान रखते हुए यादवपुर विश्वविद्यालय में बनी स्थिति का तत्काल हल निकालना होगा। यादवपुर विश्वविद्यालय के व्यापक हित में राजभवन, राज्य सरकार व विवि प्रशासन को मर्यादापूर्ण व्यवहार कर समन्वय की स्थिति बनानी चाहिए।

अभाविप दक्षिण बंगाल प्रांत मंत्री श्री अनिरूद्ध सरकार ने कहा कि पढ़ाई पूरी करने के बाद समय से डिग्री प्राप्त करना छात्रों का अधिकार है। विश्वविद्यालय में छात्र-हित प्राथमिकता में होने चाहिए। ऐसी कोई भी स्थिति नहीं बननी चाहिए, जिससे शैक्षणिक संस्थान की गरिमा पर प्रतिकूल प्रभाव पड़े। राज्यपाल, सरकार तथा कुलपति सहित सभी हितधारकों से विद्यार्थी परिषद यादवपुर विश्वविद्यालय में उन्नतशील तथा सकारात्मक शैक्षणिक वातावरण निर्माण हेतु आह्वान करती है।

अभाविप के राष्ट्रीय महामंत्री श्री याज्ञवल्क्य शुक्ल ने कहा कि यादवपुर विश्वविद्यालय में प्रशासनिक विवाद का घटनाक्रम शैक्षिक समुदाय में नकारात्मक प्रभाव डाल रहा है। सभी हितधारक महत्वपूर्ण हैं, शीघ्रता में लिया गया कोई भी अनुचित निर्णय न केवल छात्रों के हितों को क्षति पहुंचायेगा, बल्कि अकादमिक जगत में भी ग़लत संदेश प्रेषित करेगा। अभाविप आग्रह करती है कि इस पूरे घटना क्रम में सभी पक्षों को अपनी गरिमा का ध्यान रखना चाहिए तथा किसी भी प्रकार से ऐसे निर्णय से बचना चाहिए जिससे विश्वविद्यालय के छात्रों के हित प्रभावित हो तथा लचर प्रशासनिक समन्वय के कारण विश्वविद्यालय के दीर्घकालिक हित प्रभावित हों।
