@LaurettaG_MT @DrTchr To prepare for life which work is a part of. We should teach thinking, leadership, citizenship #teachergrind425

[Angela Brown @AB_teach]

@education_smo @Sciences_Monkey @AubreyBlalock It was cool to see it go the other direction from bottom up. Kids loved it! #teachergrind425

[Angela Brown @AB_teach]

@education_smo @Sciences_Monkey @AubreyBlalock My 4th gr. invited HS seniors to a breakfast and wrote them letters of encouragement.

[Angela Brown @AB_teach]

@StevieRodis I try to build in brain breaks but can't seem to keep it consistent. #teachergrind425

[Angela Brown @AB_teach]

@StevieRodis how can it be integrated into a regular pedal to the metal day? #teachergrind425

[Angela Brown @AB_teach]

@LA_Allae @DrTchr Must teach time management for it to work! My kids have friends there. Like it but lots of unwritten to learn.

[Angela Brown @AB_teach]

@porterbritt3 @DrTchr They have the foundation with their teaching certificates. Admin should add to it-just a thought #teachegrind425

[Angela Brown @AB_teach]

@LA_Allae @DrTchr Yes! Hidden but so necessary to teach. Important throughout life!#teachegrind425

[Angela Brown @AB_teach]

@porterbritt3 @DrTchr Very true! Look for their strength and build in it instead of trying to fix a weakness #teachegrind425

[Angela Brown @AB_teach]

@LA_Allae @DrTchr And a willingness to own their education once they know how and why. They have to see a purpose. #teachegrind425

[Angela Brown @AB_teach]

@mbaker074 @DrTchr @robertjmarzano That is what I'm writing paper on now. Good but overwhelming. My district has started-early stages still.

[Angela Brown @AB_teach]

@mbaker074 I felt good about how my team collaborated until I realized we leave the kids out of the process! #teachergrind425

[Angela Brown @AB_teach]

@mbaker074 @DrTchr @robertjmarzano Yes! We have to work smarter not harder! I like blended learning. #teachergrind425

[Angela Brown @AB_teach]

@AnnNGreenville I agree! We use BrainBreaks in class and go outside when possible for instruction. #teachergrind425

[Angela Brown @AB_teach]

@Tavennrm @educationweek " When you focus on the whole child, all kinds of indicators go up!" Great article! Thanks!#teachergrind425

[Angela Brown @AB_teach]

@MrsShealy That is what makes active learning exciting-involves students who are new each year keeping instruction fresh #teachergrind425

[Angela Brown @AB_teach]

@DrTchr @LA_Allae haHa!! Lol! I'm already on hall duty and cup #2 #teachergrind425

[Angela Brown @AB_teach]

@DrTchr @LA_Allae what does this mean?

[Angela Brown @AB_teach]

@education_smo @PorterElise That is what creates a life-long-learner! #teachergrind425

[Angela Brown @AB_teach]

@PorterElise Information can be "searched up" to borrow a phrase from my teenagers. The process is important. #teachergrind425
