PRESS RELEASE
OYO STATE POLICE COMMAND DEBUNKS FALSE REPORT OF ALLEGED ARREST OF PASTOR IN CONNECTION WITH ORIRE ABDUCTION CASE
The attention of the Oyo State Police Command has been drawn to false and misleading reports circulating across some media outlets, online publications, and a Facebook post that has also surfaced on some other platform, alleging that a pastor was arrested for supplying arms and ammunition to individuals involved in the abduction of students and teachers in Orire.
The Command wishes to categorically state that this claim is entirely false, misleading, and unfounded. The Facebook post, which did not mention the name or address of the pastor, further claimed that the cleric was a gun runner for the bandits. However, the Command wishes to state that no such arrest has been made by the Police or any other known security agency involved in the ongoing rescue operation, and investigation is ongoing.
The Command views this publication as a deliberate attempt to distract security operatives from ongoing rescue efforts and to cast doubt on the integrity, commitment, and professionalism of personnel working tirelessly to ensure the safe return of the victims.
Members of the public are therefore advised to disregard the false report and rely only on official updates issued through verified channels of the Oyo State Police Command.
Furthermore, individuals and platforms involved in the deliberate spread of false information are warned to desist, as the Command will not hesitate to invoke all lawful means to identify, investigate, arrest, and prosecute anyone found culpable of disseminating misinformation capable of undermining public confidence and ongoing security operations.
The Oyo State Police Command remains committed to ensuring the safe rescue of the abducted victims and maintaining public safety across the State.

See, on a trip back to Lagos at the beginning of the Iran "war" in March, I had to route my flight through Egypt. I met some scruffy, dirty, hardened and scary northern boys and I couldn't stop looking at them. Some of them even wore slip-ons slippers and I was convinced they could not afford and even know how to get a passport talk less of getting tickets (no disrespect intented). There are documentations required for Visas. How did they get them? Out of curiosity, I asked one of them, who was in front of me while going through aviation security, where they were coming from and he said Libya. Libya o! Omo, make we sha land safely first!! Bro, I was almost certain these guys were sponsored for a military style kind of training. Some of them even wore all those razz dark specs. Bro, if not for streets, you won't be able to look into their eyes, gba! Everything about them was just too suspicious. No disrespect or profiling intended but I wish the authorities could just get their details and look them up if it won't be a bother. Who knows.
With the 5-0 provisional win of Senegal, Uruguay would have it almost impossible to qualify as one of the best thirds with a draw
So they need to beat Spain!
Bielsa has got an idea how to beat Spain
Unfortunately his players are thinking a bit different to him (defending deep, counterattack)
This will probably be Bielsa's last game in charge of Uruguay
