The Advisory Council for Bosnia and Herzegovina (ACBH) is an independent, non-profit, organization that advocates for a united, democratic and multi-ethnic BiH.

This marked the start of ethnic cleansing in Prijedor. Bosniaks and Croats were identified, separated, and either killed or sent to concentration camps, where they faced torture, starvation, and violence. Over 3,000 civilians, mainly Bosniak Muslims, were murdered in Prijedor.

Among them:

🔹 Countless women imprisoned and raped
🔹 50,000+ forcibly displaced
Today, we wear white armbands to honour the victims of Prijedor, those killed for their ethnicity and faith. We remember their names. We stand against hatred. #WhiteArmbandDay

#WhiteArmbandDay: In May 1992, Serb forces in Prijedor forced Bosniak and Croat civilians to wear white armbands and mark their homes. They were identified, targeted, and sent to camps or killed. This was the beginning of ethnic cleansing. #WeRemember
