ACCU, Inc. manages Covenant Controlled Communities: Single-Family, Condos & Townhomes, old and new, in Metro Denver, Front Range & Mountain Communities.
Thank you @KnottLabs for the education today!
Often communities need engineering for certain projects and it’s important to keep
Managers informed of when and why a community may need an engineer. The continued education is much appreciated!
@Woollff1969 Many of the complaints are around us doing what the community wants. We may want to fix the pool or tennis court, but there isn't enough money and the community may not want to do a special assessment. Not that we are perfect, but we always do everything we can to make it right
Upset customers are starting to submit large Ai generated demands to their associations burning through the allocated time HOA management companies have set aside for management. Is it fair to charge the owner for the added effort or should it be subsidized by all owners?
@Woollff1969 I appreciate this, and it is a constant conversation. We do lead our market in using technology so I hope we are keeping pace with expectations. Online reviews are tough. We are like meter maids, except we ticket houses and send delinquency notices for non-paying owners.
@Woollff1969 I am always interested to hear more. Can you tell me why you think our managers are overwhelmed with the number of communities they manage, and what drives the thought around us managing like it is the 90's?
Rep. Rick’s and Rep. Titone have introduced another manager licensing bill.
We know from history the Governor vetoed the last manager licensing bill so we will be interested to see what happens

@SenatorHick@USPS Another reason we encourage CCIOA be updated to allow for electronic notifications of meetings for #HOA’s. We need sensible updates that serve our valuable clients on the Western Slope as well as controlling costs for all our communities.

@9NEWS As we continue to help our community association’s navigate the extra expense and pressure this puts on homeowner associations, we urge Boards to consider adding line items to their budgets to help combat the increase in crime and other incidents.
@JenaGriswold#HOA’s have become the focus of fraud and hackers. Our VP of the Western Slope Tina McFarlin is helping raise the quality of community management. ACCU, Inc. Brings technology and home base solutions to communities in Durango and surrounding areas.
@KDVR Our community managers struggle with complaints from owners in our communities. When the police and government fail to provide solutions they turn to us. We have no policing authority and ask more from our local governments, police and sheriff’s office to do more.
@denverpost Rising costs of housing, living expenses and credit card debt are starting to impact delinquencies for homeowners. Boards should prepare for long stints of delinquencies due to HB22-1137 and delayed collections. 18 month payment plans can hurt communities.
