@champ_remington That means a lot man. Don't worry, I never didn't enjoy this account and I still very much do. It's just very hard to keep it going with how little submissions I get and how much the climate around AC has changed. Hoping things get better in the future though ^^

Given it some thought, and I want this account to still be a place to share and promote creativity, even though it's clear the AC climate isn't what it once was. Should I

A) Turn the account into a general gaming content/art sharing page

B) Keep as it is now (far less activity)

@Hauntings13 I'd be totally down to do that, and I'd still share Animal Crossing related things if I rebranded the account, it just wouldn't be the MAIN focus anymore

I wanna share and promote things that help out smaller accounts and make people happy. It's what I love to do, and obviously I'd still promote AC stuff, even if it wasn't the primary focus.

I think a rebranding would be the best thing to prevent this account from fading away 💖

To elaborate, I'd ideally love to keep this as an AC focused page, but it's clear the climate around the game isn't as active anymore, so it's hard to run a page on zero submissions.

That being said I don't want this account to just collect dust

@lollymoshi I thought about that too. But if I suddenly turned this account into something else I know a lot of people would probably feel very betrayed or annoyed with me. I'm not sure. I've been weighing it over for a while

Considering making yet another huge vent post about this. I have a lotta thoughts about the future of this account and I feel people deserve a full explanation as to why I've barely been active for a few weeks

Just to clarify this isn't meant to sound accusational. I'm just very aware that the AC hype train has very much died down these past few months.

Ideally I'd love to keep this running as long as possible, but it may be time to throw in the towel if nothing happens soon

@Ironic_Haruki It was inevitable, don't worry. I knew it'd only be a matter of time before the hype train died down and honestly I didn't expect this account to be anything more than a seasonal trend anyway.

We'll just have to see what happens 🤷‍♀️
