LHP Jacob Kroeger sustained his JR Ritchie-like-run of starts of allowing two or fewer earned runs on Thursday, tossing six shutout against Bowling Green.
Over 12 career starts, Jacob has gone at least 5.0 innings in 9 of the 12 and given up two or fewer earned runs in 10 of the 12.
Last year’s tenth-round selection out of Division II Maryville University now sports a 1.98 ERA across 82.0 innings this season.
After Jackson Vanesko's strong three innings, allowing one unearned run, PJ Rogan (Sacred Heart) replaced him in the sixth.
Rogan struck out Brayden Dowd and Connor Capece in a 1-2-3 sixth inning.
