“This bill is another step in protecting doctors in New York State so that we can continue providing the best care for our patients.” - Dr. Flink-Bochacki, ACOG District II Legislative Chair

[Governor Kathy Hochul @GovKathyHochul]

Providers like Dr. Flink understand what abortion access means for their patients.

In New York, we’re protecting a woman’s right to choose.

And we always will.

Our Legislative Chair, Dr. Rachel Flink-Bochacki, attended a bill signing for legislation that allows prescribers of medication abortion pills to use their hospital or practice name instead of their own to protect their privacy. TY @GovKathyHochul @ShelleyBMayer @KarinesReyes87

[Governor Kathy Hochul @GovKathyHochul]

Moments ago, I signed a new law protecting New York doctors who prescribe abortion medication. No doctor should go to jail for providing basic reproductive health care.

Some states want to prosecute our providers -- but I'll fight like hell to protect them.

Today is #MaternalHealthAwarenessDay! It’s crucial that we come together for our patients and our communities. Follow along as we lift up the voices of those who best know what’s at stake when it comes to maternal and reproductive health in the United States.

[ACOG District II @ACOGD2]

Today, in honor of #MaternalHealthAwarenessDay, ACOG District II elevates what is truly at stake for New Yorkers as the national maternal mortality crisis continues and as we anticipate new federal challenges to access equitable and comprehensive reproductive health care.

[ACOG District II @ACOGD2]

TY @nysbpclc for hosting today’s legislative breakfast. In advance of #MaternalHealthAwarenessDay, tomorrow, 1/23, we call on NYS lawmakers to partner w/ the ob-gyn community to invest in efforts to protect access to abortion care & combat the continued maternal mortality crisis.

[Bipartisan Pro-Choice Legislative Caucus @nysbpclc]

We are looking forward to legislative briefings from @PPESActs, @ACOGD2, @NIRHAction, & @NYCLU, and robust discussion of reproductive rights legislative priorities at the BPCLC Annual Legislative Breakfast on January 22nd!
