#TeamMathsACS are looking for donations of old Guess Who and Jenga games. We will recycle these and transform the games into mathematical games to help develop our pupils’ maths skills and build confidence.

Playing maths games encourages strategic thinking, problem solving and develops fluency. They give the chance for students to apply their learning in a different context and the opportunity to explain and discuss the maths involved with their peers- often without fear of failure.

I’ve just been told by our Head of Physics that if you hold ‘ctrl F’ within a class Microsoft class ‘Team’ and type in a student name you can see all their contributions in the chat function of any lesson to check participation. Seriously helpful.
