The U.S. Consulate in Krakow is pleased to announce that it will conduct limited consular services in Zakopane on July 9, 2026.
U.S. citizens can schedule an appointment to apply for passport services, Consular Reports of Birth Abroad, and notary services.
Services will be available by appointment only from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. To schedule an appointment, call the U.S. Consulate at (12) 424-51-00 between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.  Please schedule your appointment before 12:00 p.m. on July 7th.

Reminder: To use Online Passport Renewal, you must be located in a U.S. state or territory at the time you renew. As soon as you submit your online application, your existing passport will be automatically canceled in our systems, making it invalid for travel even if it hasn’t expired. If you’re a U.S. citizen living abroad, renew your passport at the nearest U.S. embassy or consulate.

In coordination with @HHSGov, @StateDept will revoke U.S. passports of those who owe significant child support debt. Anyone owing child support debt should arrange payment now with the relevant state child support enforcement agency to prevent passport revocation. If outside the U.S. when their passport is revoked, individuals with significant debt will be eligible ONLY for a limited validity passport for direct return to the United States. If your U.S. passport is lost or stolen while you’re overseas, our consular teams around the world can help. Here’s what to do:
1️⃣ Stay calm. Our teams can help get you an emergency passport in order to return to the United States.
2️⃣ Contact the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate for help. Visit the U.S. Embassy website for the country you’re in to find their emergency contact info and/or their process for replacing a lost or stolen passport. You can also find this contact info at https://t.co/2UcjXiXclu.
3️⃣ Apply for your emergency passport in person. Follow the instructions provided by the Embassy or Consulate regarding walk-in hours or scheduling an appointment as well as what to bring.
4️⃣ Apply for a full validity passport when you’re back in the United States. If you apply for the full-validity replacement passport within one year of the emergency passport being issued, it will be exchanged without any additional fees. Learn more at https://t.co/ZAZGrirTBY

✅CAN replace your lost or stolen passport
✅CAN help contact your family in an emergency
✅CAN visit and make sure you are being treated fairly if arrested or detained
✅CAN issue a Consular Report of Birth Abroad to document the U.S. citizenship of children born to American parents abroad
✅CAN provide a list of local attorneys and local medical providers who speak English.
