Today, the Church of Uganda officially flagged off assorted relief items in Kapchorwa to support families affected by the recent landslides in the Sebei Region.
The flag-off was led by the Bishop of Sebei Diocese, the Rt. Rev. Paul Kiptoo Masaba, and witnessed by the Director of Household and Community Transformation (HCT), Rev. Agaba Andrew, together with district leaders from Kapchorwa, Kween, and Bukwo.
This emergency humanitarian response comes at a time when many families have lost loved ones, homes, food, and basic household necessities. As a Church, we stand with the affected communities in prayer, love, and action.

It's time that the global tax rules work for people and the planet!
Today, in #Nairobi governments are meeting to negotiate a #UNTaxConvention
For too long, global tax rules have favored the few.
The UN Tax Convention is our chance to create a fair, transparent system that works for everyone, not just multinationals or the ultra-rich.
It’s time to pick the side of justice and equality.
