A traditional Chief, Chinese, miners and other PEPs caught in the act using a Dam Scooping Authorisation to conduct illegal alluvial riverbed mining in Zhombe, Kwekwe. This time they were not as smart as they thought.

ACT-SA extends its commendations to the Zambian police force for their decisive action in apprehending two Chinese nationals, Zhao Yanjing and Zhao Changson, and recovering an impressive cache of 29.9kg of gold and US$200,000 in cash that was illicitly smuggled from Zimbabwe.
