ACT

Advocates for Community Transformation. We empower inner-city residents to fight crime on their streets using the justice system. 📍Dallas 🌱Micah 6:8

Thank you to everyone who attended our annual fall benefit last night! We had over 400 guests in attendance, raised over $235,000, and gifts are still coming in. Thank you for being part of that change in our city. 🌱 #StandWithAct #WhyIAct https://t.co/73Poy9WT8e

We 💙 the @DallasPD! Act is partnering with Highland Park Presbyterian Church @hppres to provide free lunches to DPD officers to thank them for all their hard work caring for our city in the pandemic.

[ACT @ACT_Justice]

Will you join us in standing alongside Dallas residents to fight crime on their streets so that sheltering at home is a safe experience for everyone?

You can donate to our #NTxGivingTuesdayNow campaign. https://t.co/6hbMCM8uMj #StandWithAct

We wanted to stop and remember that today was the original scheduled date for Generation Justice 2020. We know that Generation Justice is more than a social event, and it is not confined to a single time or place. How can you better know, love, and transform your city today?

[ACT @ACT_Justice]

On Tuesday, May 5, local philanthropy leaders will rally the North Texas community together to raise funds for local first responders and nonprofits, including Act! Beginning today, April 14, and through May 5, you can give in support of Act's work. https://t.co/6hbMCM8uMj

"He is not here, for He has risen, as He said." - Matthew 28:6

He has risen, indeed. Happy Easter from all of us at Act! 🌱

[ACT @ACT_Justice]

Today, Act joins the global Church to pause and remember the path of suffering Jesus took to the cross. We reflect on his humble obedience to the Father, even to death. #GoodFriday

🌱#StandWithAct Prayer Request🌱 Please join the Act team in praying for physical protection and emotional encouragement for many of our partners who are elderly.

Will you join us in prayer this week?

[ACT @ACT_Justice]

Despite the adjustments of working virtually, we are so grateful that we can connect through video calls like this one we had with our Advancement Team the other day! Every day presents unexpected challenges but we will continue to help people fight crime on their street!

[ACT @ACT_Justice]

This pandemic will continue to affect us all—our world, nation, state, city, as well as our neighbors and families. Our prayer is to have the strength and trust to lean into the love of God rather than fear and anxiety. We are all in this together. 🌱

[ACT @ACT_Justice]

Generation Justice Postponed - As the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic continues to evolve, our primary concern is for the health and safety of all guests and their families. As we have more details regarding the future of this year’s Generation Justice, we will let you know. 🌱

[ACT @ACT_Justice]

Dallas, we love you. The Act team is actively praying for our city, country, and world as we face this pandemic together. Let's care for our city, our neighbors, and continue fighting for justice on our streets. 🌱

[ACT @ACT_Justice]

What if this generation was known as the one that stood up for their neighbor and cared for the oppressed? What if this generation pursued justice?
