@Sam29124359@skycaptaingroyp If you argue for definition it's going to either change the definition of cuck, or you'll start to see a new term emerge for this to quell the "technicality" rebuttal. Regardless the people say it because it's considered socially unacceptable to them.
@ChibiReviews Genuinely, you could map out this conflict almost directly through culture war. Even if it seems like nonsense, it feels like it accounts better than just an argument over which is the better story.
@JReizeism Depends on what "cancel" entails. If it's a disavowal and strongly worded tweet, then you just have to ragebait a big account and hope they don't just block you but try the "this account is..." whatever argument is in fashion for the week about a specific topic.
@Ra2byou It's really just millennial cope and disdain for fandoms and mainstream appeal. This is the type of tourist where they hid behind the "it was niche" to justify them being a casual.
@revenant_MMXX It's funny how people assume valve shouldn't enforce their own tos and view that they are still competing but from the top. Pro-consumer stops at anti-profit.
"Why not let them lower their own prices?"
"Because we don't do free marketing for our competition."
@CrimsonLawson No you worded it just fine. I was sharing my opinion to your take. I think the audience(some people) is allowed to dislike something upon introduction. But I guess even accepting that premise requires the idea that no masterpiece is inoffensive.
@Geccbruhhhh Why would it be? The story hasn't ended and people already die on the hill that without Subaru the story doesn't work. No in story narrative about it could give justice to the feelings and arguments the fandom has already made about him.
@ETCviperidae@Ra2byou It's not the only power up like that but the point is it's not the traditional type of power up that unlocks a technique or item that simply boosts the user's stats without downsides.
@TerminusVinter Like another guy said it's a wendigoon trend, the pop culture need to label something historic in a more relatable format. Despite the work being incredibly transgressive for the time. His own video covering it which sits at 11m views opens with him calling it biblical fanfic.
@KuroSekaiAnime There were people tweeting entire essays to a spanish post where the guy said he didn't like Re:zero but it was good and deserves its success. It's insane. "You can't like or think Re:zero is a great story unless you like Subaru." The guy doesn't even like himself.
@Mativec@UshiromiyaMemo "Despite this, it's undeniable what a good story it is and it really deserves the fame it has." That's the rest of his opinion. Where in that did he say the story is ruined or bad because Subaru is the protagonist?
@GoddessCatto@ChibiReviews Most stories don't do it because it ruins the story's progression and doesn't help most stories, here it makes sense because there's people that can eat memories and names. Of course they're going to be encountered again since they were there the previous season.
