Lead Diversity and Inclusivity Advisor for Army Cadets in support of ACF and CCF Units. Promoting Army Cadet Inclusion strategy throughout the organisation.
Reflecting on ACF DofE Conference & checking notes, at some point I wrote this 🤷♀️ sometimes in Leadership we need to give a little bit more information to ensure the team is on board. We need to ensure all ideas are are welcomed with open arms and opinions are valued 1/2......
Getting external comparisons to what we do; intentionally inclusive culture, valuing diversity, getting to know what people need to perform to best. Investing in leaders, ensure can lead an inclusive team well. Creating a culture where people feel safe to be themselves #igppedi

🧡 Today marks the start of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, a global campaign calling for the prevention and elimination of violence against women and girls.
At #WED, we stand united with those raising their voices for change. The theme for 2025, “Invest to Prevent Violence Against Women & Girls”, reminds us that awareness, action and allyship all matter.
It’s not too late to join us at #WEDVAWG25, taking place at Tidworth Garrison, where we’ll be holding our annual VAWG Conference.
This year’s WED theme, “Counting the Cost: The Human and Economic Consequences of Failing to Tackle VAWG” will explore the real impact of inaction and the urgent need for sustained change.
Together, we can turn awareness into action and use our collective voice as a power for good. 🧡

Excellent day, learning and networking with many different roles of Army personnel. Trust was central to the solution of inclusion and feeling welcome. Leaders must be fair and listen to their teams. Diversity is present and has been for all time, it’s what makes our army strong.
1-/2 The Network Chair's final three lines from today's conference:
1. Know your personal story and celebrate it, tell everyone how you got here.
2. Be more Nandos, Inclusion as a first principle, not an after thought.
