With no ceasefire in sight, the key question is: who can deter Russia in the Black Sea militarily? The answer @GaberYevgeniya writes in our latest #TURKEYSource blog, is Ukraine—with the support of its allies. https://t.co/ddXMRtUJo1

[Atlantic Council Turkey Program @AC_TRprogram]

Russia has rejected another Black Sea ceasefire as attacks on civilian shipping continue. Ukraine has pushed back Russia’s fleet, but its ports remain exposed. In her latest #TURKEYSource blog, @GaberYevgeniya examines what allies can do to close that gap: https://t.co/ddXMRtUJo1

Ukraine has changed the balance of power in the Black Sea without a navy that could match Russia’s fleet; but naval drones cannot shield ports from missile strikes.

In her latest #TURKEYSource blog, @GaberYevgeniya, explains that sustaining Kyiv’s gains requires stronger air defenses and support from its allies: https://t.co/pUtCQ05eH0

As Washington increasingly uses trade policy to advance its foreign policy goals, Turkey faces both new pressures and new opportunities.
A broader US-Turkey bargain could exchange greater economic cooperation for more predictable tariff treatment.

What should follow Russia’s rejection of another Black Sea truce? Stronger Ukrainian defenses, closer regional cooperation, and a clear response to attacks on civilian shipping. @GaberYevgeniya offers five recommendations for making deterrence more credible in her latest #TURKEYSource blog: https://t.co/pUtCQ05eH0

Turkey’s manufacturing base, strategic geography, and links to markets across Europe, Central Asia, and the Middle East make it a valuable economic and security partner for the United States.
How can Washington and Ankara move beyond tariffs to capitalize on that opportunity?
Leo Ayala explains in the latest #TURKEYSource: https://t.co/XtIec7EATs

[Atlantic Council Turkey Program @AC_TRprogram]

The US-Turkey trade relationship has significant room to grow, but getting closer to the longstanding $100 billion trade goal will require looking beyond tariffs.
A broader bargain on market access, investment, and supply-chain security could chart the path forward.
Leo Ayala explores its potential in #TURKEYSource: https://t.co/XtIec7EATs

[Atlantic Council Turkey Program @AC_TRprogram]

Tariffs are only one part of the story that is the US-Turkey economic relationship.

A broader bargain linking trade, investment, supply-chain security, and economic-security priorities could help Washington and Ankara move closer to their longstanding $100 billion trade goal.
