@sarajcox I was in hospital 5 days when my son was born, I tried the hospital food once, then ordered a different takeaway delivered to the hospital for the remaining 4 days & got my husband to run down & collect it.

@sarajcox I once went to an AA meeting out of guilt from a week on a bender. Elderly drunk man in a toga kept pouring booze from his hip flask into his free cup of coffee and shouting “i gave up alcohol 2 years ago” - he was asked to leave.

@sarajcox My daughter (then 6) stuck a huge gem up her nose. An overnight stay in hospital followed as they couldn’t see it & were worried she might choke. The next day, she was prepped for surgery, when a hero ENT specialist extracted it with a huge hook whilst i promised McDonald’s.
