@FIFAWorldCup If Egypt can be treated this way, one wonders what fate would await nations like Ghana when facing Argentina and others. This is blatant unfairness. @FIFA must stop wasting our time, energy, and efforts.

The racist, dehumanising remarks against @KMbappe by Paraguayan Sen. Celeste Amarilla are despicable, regrettably not isolated.
States & sports organisations must prevent acts of racism & discrimination, and ensure independent and effective accountability. Social media must also prevent and address racial discrimination on their platforms.

I am here at the Global Dialogue on AI Governance – and my message is clear: the future of AI must be shaped by human oversight and effective governance.
Together, let’s ensure that AI is developed safely, fairly, and benefitting of all humanity.
We may be the last generation able to set the terms on which humanity and machines coexist.
If AI is to be powerful, it must be governed.
If AI is to be trusted, those who build it must be accountable.
If AI is to be global, it must be fair.
And if AI is to serve the future, it must not consume the future.
Let’s build a future of AI by humanity, with humanity, for all humanity.
🇬🇭🇿🇦A Ghanaian man, who was a fashion designer, was killed in Cape Town yesterday by March and March thugs.
He was documented in South Africa, married with 3 children and has been living there for two decades.
Eye witnesses report say the Man was approached by March and March criminals, who entered his shop, then accused him of taking South African jobs, then called him a Kwerekwere, and then shot him at close blank range, execution style, afterwards.
He is the first Ghanaian to be killed in the over 2 decades of Afrophobic violence in South Africa.
A few trees along the Lago Avenue have fallen across the road near the East Legon Cemetery. If you’re heading towards American House or its surroundings via that stretch, please take an alternate route. Stay safe!
@fourthestategh I can’t wait to see the full documentary. Look for the “Street Lighting in Ghana - Policy Framework” and you would understand where the problem is coming from.
📅 28 YEARS.
🇬🇭 That’s how long it’s been since the Black Stars lost a second group match at the World Cup or AFCON.
💔 Last time? A painful 2-1 defeat to Togo back at AFCON 1998 in Burkina Faso.
🏟️ Now, history stands at the door as Ghana faces England in a blockbuster clash.
🖤 Can the Black Stars protect this legendary streak vs the Three Lions of England ?
