Guys, guys, I just called my Dem Congressman's office to tell him I don't want Jeffries as speaker and before I was even done with my preamble, the staffer said, let me guess what you're going to say...he said he's been hearing it all day and then he asked me what I'd like to see Democrats do and had a 10 minute conversation with me. He even asked me to repeat some items from my laundry list so he could write it down.

I also called my Senator. Who has also been getting calls about new leadership.

The argument that there was too much attention given to Michigan race is rich coming from Neera Tanden, who incessantly posted about it far more than almost anyone. She did this with the goal of sabotaging El-Sayed's campaigning by elevating Hasan Piker as a election issue and by repeatedly calling for greater efforts to assuage the wounded pride of Haley Stevens (a flake who ended up endorsing Mike Rogers).

Hasan helped democrats win primaries by leading his community to fundraise, knock doors, and work the phones. He then had to bite his tongue when a candidate he helped win a primary had to bow to the negative framing by mainstream media and Republicans.

He became the boogeyman.

He was the lead on every Fox News show. His name was on the tongue of the president of the United States and the prime minister of Israel.

He stood firm and continued to push his agenda all while his life was being threatened.

He has earned this victory lap.
