@zherbert That had the a row of computers and asked “which one would you like? I’ll square this for you” (or something to the effect; they kept snapping the mic wire). I chose something close to my model and thanked him profusely. I never forgot it, and have been loyal to Apple since.

@zherbert We were stationed in the UK. My iMac GPU had died, so I took it to the local Apple Store. I bring it home after the repair and my mic does not work. Back and forth 3 more times, and was starting to be a little frustrated. The manager came to assist and pointed to the wall /1

@blakeleica @OrdinaryInds You can. Use the Audio MIDI utility, create an aggregate device, and shunt audio through there (even spatial). Dual Apple Studio Monitors sound incredible like that.
