A gentle reminder:
• Don’t let others dictate your mood.
• Don’t let the opinion of one stranger dictate your decisions.
• Don’t compare yourself to others whose past, present, and future was written for a totally different purpose and passion
Churches, please be mindful: moments of worship are deeply personal and sacred. Having cameras or media teams focused on the congregation can be distracting and uncomfortable. Let’s protect the space so people can fully engage without feeling observed.
You do not know [the least thing] about what may happen in your life tomorrow. [What is secure in your life?] You are merely a vapor [a puff of smoke or a wisp of steam] that is visible for a little while and then vanishes [into thin air]. Here today, gone the next.
Identify your thoughts and how you perceive yourself.
Is this thought helping me?
Is this thought hurting me?
Is this thought causing me to fear?
Is this thought hindering me?
Is this what God says about me?
Is this what God says about this situation?
There has never been or ever will be another YOU in this world - make the most of it.
For you created my inmost being;
You knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Psalm 139:13-14
The very same God that spins things in orbit, runs to the weary, the worn and the weak
And the same gentle hands that hold me when I'm broken
They conquered death to bring me victory
You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book. My enemies will retreat when I call to you for help. This I know:God is on my side! Psalm 56:8-10
When we make time for prayer and studying His word, we invite Him to be present in our lives and guide us in our daily decisions. This allows us to see things from His perspective and make choices that align with His will.
