New in PN: Judge rules that anti-woke is just racism
â'Iâve never seen a record where racial discrimination was so palpable,' Judge Young fumed. 'Iâve sat on this bench for 40 years. Iâve never seen government racial like this.'
More of this, please." https://t.co/y8VD0k0BxX
NESTERAK: President Trump has granted clemency to numerous individuals who have stolen hundreds of millions in Medicaid funds. Can we expect any of these folks to be shown the same mercy?
McDONALD: I'll take a different question
I hope you arenât drunk and took your staffâs advice, Rashida and I donât know this man and feel confident he didnât care about us. Please restrain from drinking too much as you have been warned from your staff and stay off social media when you are drunk. I pray in his holy month you find peace and respect for your self,
I study authoritarianism for a living, so I do not say this lightly: America isn't facing an authoritarian future. America is living an authoritarian present.

đ„HOPE WALZ: âOh Don Jr, it is so clear your dad doesnât love you⊠my family will always be richer than yours, because we find joy in each other - not tearing other people down. I really hope you get the help you need.â
BREAKING: ICE just tried to deport this woman, but there was just one problem â she was Native American.
You read that right: Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) â the agency supposedly tasked with deporting undocumented immigrants â just tried to deport an Indigenous woman whose ancestors have been here for thousands of years.
Leticia Jacobo, a 24-year-old member of Arizonaâs Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community, was born in Phoenix â but that didnât stop ICE from trying to ship her âbackâ to a country she doesnât even belong to.
Hereâs how this jaw-dropping injustice unfolded: Jacobo was sitting in a Polk County, Iowa jail after being booked for allegedly driving with a suspended license â nothing violent, nothing serious.
Her mother, Ericka Burns, was preparing to pick her up and bring her home when jail staff dropped a bombshell: âSheâs not being released. ICE is coming to deport her.â
Her mom was stunned. âHow can you deport her?â she asked. âSheâs Native American!â
But the jail staff shrugged it off. They said they were âjust holding herâ for ICE. No one â not a single person â could explain how or why this was happening.
Jacoboâs family went into overdrive â calling, emailing, begging officials to stop what was about to become one of the most shameful bureaucratic blunders in modern history. They reached out to tribal leaders, shared pleas on Facebook, and even showed up at the jail with her birth certificate to prove sheâs an American citizen.
And still, officials hesitated. Hours ticked by while ICE prepared to take her.
Finally, after an agonizing all-night standoff, she was released around 4:30 a.m. â barely.
And whatâs ICEâs excuse? A âclerical error.â
Lt. Mark Chance from the Polk County Sheriffâs Office casually dismissed it as âhuman error.â Just a little mix-up, they said. The detainer was meant for someone else, and they just happened to attach it to the file of a Native American woman born on U.S. soil.
âWeâll have some meetings about it,â Chance said. âThis is silly.â
Silly? This wasnât âsilly.â This was an attempted deportation of a woman whose people are the original inhabitants of this land, by a government agency that has no idea whose land itâs even on.
Let that sink in: the United States government almost deported an Indigenous woman from her own country.
This is what happens when an agency like ICE is given unchecked power â where âclerical errorsâ can destroy lives, and where systemic racism and dehumanization are written into the paperwork. If her family hadnât fought like hell, Leticia Jacobo could have been vanished into ICE custody â another name lost in a broken, brutal system.
Itâs time to abolish this corrupt and incompetent agency that canât even tell the difference between an immigrant and an Indigenous citizen.
Because if ICE can come for Native Americans, they can come for anyone.
Please like and share if youâre as outraged by this as we are!
I feel like this photo of masked, armed men pepper spraying a pastor protecting his community is going to be a defining picture of this moment in America for a long, long time.
