Criston Cole spent 20 years believing he was the main character - killed Joffrey Lonmouth at a wedding, killed Beesbury at a council, humiliated Harwin Strong.
Then a teenage Lord Paramount with no battle experience looked him dead in the eye and said "You're not worth a sword fight."
Didn't even give him a warrior's death. Just _nods_ and 30 Rivermen turn him into a hedgehog.
