Rapid KL today confirmed that one of its trains derailed while passing a railway switch near Chan Sow Lin station, disrupting services along the Ampang-Sri Petaling Line.

In a statement, the rail operator said no injuries were reported in the incident.

“There were 25 passengers on board the train when the incident occurred.

“They have since been evacuated,” it said.

The company said its technical team was investigating the incident while repair works were ongoing.
