@sam_gzstrength People being in the gym is good. Are there decisions they can make at the gym that are better / worse? Sure. But if you start from the premise that “people should do some exercise and figure out what works for them” and then add “if they ask me for any help, I’ll try…”
@sam_gzstrength Veteran lifters are usually either “totally indifferent” or “helpful if someone asks for advice” but rarely will be especially judgmental of anyone else in the gym.

@wstgoat7 His team went 22-60 in his first NBA season and his second was cut short by a season ending injury, I’m gonna go ahead and make a ruling that he’s allowed to show some emotion about making his first NBA Finals
@TheSiz1@3YearLetterman Kansas was already playing with house money and still remembers that as the best season in school history. A close loss to another top-5 team was still a thrilling outcome.
WVU had more recent success, higher preseason expectations, and was heavily favored vs a crappy Pitt team
@TheSiz1@3YearLetterman I vividly remember thinking how wild it was that Kansas was playing Missouri in a late-season matchup of unbeaten top-5 teams.
As for the original point though…I think @3YearLetterman is right that WVU losing to Pitt that same year was a bitter-er pull to swallow.
@3YearLetterman I’d also like to nominate 2007 Kansas losing to Missouri for basically the same reason. 11-0 and had a legit chance to play for the national title, and similarly, probably a once-in-a-lifetime chance for a program that had nothing close to that season before or since

@mpearl88@coachdeesmith …going to be the same as what people are thinking with EG which seems to be “let’s see how much better people get when they’re enhanced!”
@mpearl88@coachdeesmith I sort of get the idea of taking people from tested sports who are nominally believed to be clean and seeing how much they improve when enhanced. Taking athletes from untested sports in EG is just giving then an exhibition venue to showcase their skills but not really…
