Today, Rep member Hon Umar Yusuf Yabo was in his hometown in Sokoto to showcase his ADC form to his supporters.
Lessons will be learned when the real game begins. ADC arise and shine ๐

There is blatant madness going on in South Africa and the whole world is silent.
This CCTV video captured a South African anti-immigrant xenophobic terrorist enter a store owned by Ethiopians and gunned down two of them at close range.

Clarification on My Political Position
We have noted recent media reports and discussions suggesting a possible realignment within the African Democratic Congress (ADC) due to the current challenges facing the party.
In light of the misleading narratives in the public domain, I wish to state categorically that no final decision has been taken regarding my political future or that of my political associates.
The recent Supreme Court judgment, while affirming the legitimacy of the David Mark-led National Working Committee (NWC), also remitted the matter back to the High Court. This has left the party in a precarious position.
In addition, the Federal High Court has recently ruled to delegitimise the partyโs recent convention. The Attorney General of the Federation has also strangely applied to a Federal High Court to deregister the ADC.
We left the NNPP due to externally influenced legal problems that made our stay perilous. The ADC has now been also forced into this difficulty.
Consequently, like other major stakeholders, we have commenced wide-ranging consultations โ including with leaders from the NDC, PRP and others to explore the best options for protecting our democratic interests. We shall announce our decision in the soonest possible time.
On the issue of presidential candidacy, I wish to recall my consistent record as a committed democrat. In the 2014 APC presidential primary, I came second to President Muhammadu Buhari (whom I fully supported to victory), with Atiku Abubakar third, Rochas Okorocha fourth, and the late Sam Nda-Isaiah fifth. Similarly, in 2019, I contested the PDP presidential ticket and immediately supported the winner, His Excellency Atiku Abubakar, serving as the campaignโs coordinator in the North. I have always placed national interest and party unity above personal ambition.
Furthermore, the ADC is yet to zone its presidential ticket or take any decision on a candidate. I have therefore neither declared any intention to run for president nor endorsed any aspirant. All speculations to the contrary are premature and unfounded.
My absence from the two recent ADC stakeholdersโ meetings was due to unavoidable personal commitments. I promptly communicated my apologies to the party leadership.
We shall continue to engage constructively at all levels. Any definitive position on our political direction will be communicated formally through official channels at the appropriate time.

With profound sadness, I received the shocking news of the passing of my dear elder brother Mike Okaka in USA. On behalf of my family and the Obidient family, I extend my deepest condolences and sincerely mourn his loss.
Mike was a devoted supporter of the Obidient movement and a passionate believer in the vision of a new Nigeria. His dedication, energy, and unwavering commitment to the ideals of good governance were truly remarkable. He stood firm in the collective struggle for a better nation and made meaningful contributions toward the cause we all cherish.
May God Almighty, who has called him home, grant him eternal rest, and may He comfort his family, loved ones, and all of us with the strength and fortitude to bear this painful and irreplaceable loss. -PO
As far as Obi is yet to make his declaration to join NDC official, I still believe there is a room for reconciliation. Atiku should reach out to him to make him see reasons to stay in the coalition. This isn't the time to play big man politics. If Obi joins ADC, there is no pathway for Atiku or anyone in the coalition.
Atiku shouldn't listen to those who are saying he has a chance without Obi against Tinubu. He can't win as long as Obi is on the ballot as a separate candidate. Atiku had 25% in 21 states in 2023. There is no way he is going to get 25% in any Southern state if Obi fails to run alongside him. Most of the southern guys in the coalition are not as popular as Obi
Let's assume Tinubu rigs all the states in the South, the fact remains Obi will still clear the 5 states in the South East. Atiku needs the 5 states in the SE to solve his 25% puzzle and to get enough edge to drag it out with Tinubu. Only Obi has a guaranteed bulk votes in the East.
Please reach out to him and try to see if there is a room for reconciliation. Don't assume @atiku!
Todayโs Saturday Tribune column reflects on Obi and Kwankwaso's rumored defection to NDC and argues that Tinubuโs most potent weapon against the opposition isnโt INEC, the courts or state power, but an opposition so vain, so fractured and so self-absorbed https://t.co/Fbygo8N5DJ
I wonโt be surprised if Kwankwaso was sent to ADC by Tinubu to ensure Peter Obi contests on another platform, thereby dividing the oppositionโs votes once again.
Atiku/Obi in 2019 = 11,262,978 votes
In 2023,
Solo Atiku = 6,984,520
Solo Obi = 6,101,533
Total = 13,086,053
In 2027,
The ball is in your court but FACTS ARE STUBBORN and I donโt make them.
Team up as President and Vice, or team up with one supporting the other, thatโs the only way to win, but you must be a team.
@ziter001 After all said and done, it will be on record you contributed in destroying the coalition because of your greed and desire to be relevant around Peter Obi.
Posterity will remember how you, Esther, Serah, Malam Jabeer and Tanko deceived Obi into political oblivion.
