Thought this was one of those parody accounts lampooning the positions of right-wing US politicians, but nope, this is an actual sitting US congressman.
Vile.
There are some unwritten rules around this. You cannot run wearing the current season shirt of the team you support. Retro tops are acceptable, as are totally random football shirts from the continent/South America.
Can’t be dragging someone for not wearing a £200 dryfit top.
This article is completely correct. Doesn’t matter who’s in charge, from Polanski to Farage and everyone inbetween, if the PM and ministers aren’t given the time or space to do anything meaningful. And it’s been like this for about a decade.
The West Ham disallowed goal - my issue with it isn’t that it’s not a foul, more that if you hyper analyse any corner you’ll find 4-5 fouls being committed. Declan Rice was rugby tackling someone in the background. Very little consistency.
The issue about this is:
I don’t like this as I find his politics intolerable.
But some with love this as they like the guy.
And there’s no reasonable debate that will happen which doesn’t turn into insult slinging.
I just wish our club wasn’t involved #itfc
@R_J_M_11 If it had been Starmer, Polanski, Davey, Badenoch, the uproar would have been the same just from different circles.
No politician should be holding up our shirt for political gain. No matter where they sit on the political spectrum.
This is such a weird/funny goal in so many ways. Greaves punting a 10 yard pass into orbit, Azon beating their CB in the air despite a height difference of about a foot, and then Burns shooting in such a fashion that the keeper’s wrists dissolve #itfc
@TEXTisBACKUP It’s a tricky one. We’ve had so many games difficult to watch, today massively included. Taking off our entire front 4 and hoping a different cast of players does something shows we’re reliant on players rather than tactics to get us over the line. But it’s still in our hands.
Kipre needs to be hooked at half time. Too many passengers in this team, Matusiwa clearly not fit, and the front 4 shitting the bed every time they get the ball #itfc
Bit of a ding dong of a half. Boro a decent team. McAteer and Azon playing well, superb movement, Jaden trying to make things happen. Nunez having a stinker, wouldn’t be surprised to see Mehmeti very soon. Still feels like we can create chances here #itfc
Watched the Champions League for the first time in ages last night, and blimey, Madrid - Bayern is a reminder what football should be like. Not playing for set pieces and rugby tackling in the 6 yard box.
@secondtierpod Technically, what this shows is that in 29 games they’ve turned a 7 point gap into a 3 point gap. Which probably doesn’t require a peer reviewed study.
This game really shows the big gaps we have even with our league position. No real effective striker, a host of limited right wingers, no back up for Matusiwa, a centre back at left back etc #itfc
