I grew up during the Golden Age of Hip-Hop and Neo Soul, and I get plenty kudos by the talented bandleaders and musicians that I play with in the great studios of New York City, on my head-knocking Hard Bop swing, and drum shuffles.

I slickly add the Hip-Hop breakbeats and soulful rhythms that I've heard growing up, into my unique funky swing, while playing in the fantastic Hard Bop and funky Post-Bop small combos, that I'm honored to be a part of.
