I normally don't post about things like this but Metroid Prime Remastered Physical being sold out this quickly is straight up ridiculous.

Scalpers are gonna scalp but this is frustrating from a Game Preservation standpoint. This one's on Nintendo.

I found a hidden gem w/ solid mechanics & neat ideas only to find 11 Positive Reviews on Steam. Here's some factors:

❌No Discord Community
❌No Social Media
❌Very Few Trailer Videos

Good work gets word of mouth but you need more w/ how competitive game creation is.

Some Advice for New Indie Devs:

Not 👏marketing👏your 👏game 👏while 👏making 👏it👏gets👏 it 👏 ignored 👏when 👏it 👏launches!

Marketing is half the job of earning a following/community. You'll get feedback, have press interested, & have resources for the next game!

When it comes to my videos, it's a *lot* easier to properly adjust recording VOs w/ my XLR Rode Mic over my old Yeti

If you're casually making content USB mics do okay. Non USBs are preferable but they make for an easier barrier of entry to make content
