Huge thanks to our brilliant brass and saxophone team for providing some party tunes at Ruth Binks’ leaving do.
It was also lovely to see former music service pupil Cody, who had been invited by Ruth to play some flute duets as a final farewell.
Good luck in your new post Ruth!

Thank you to the @ADEScotland for inviting us to attend their annual conference in Cumbernauld on 6th/7th November.
We had some fantastic conversations at our information stand and lots of interest in our tick awareness animations which ran over the breaks.

#ADES2025 Closing remarks from VP Mark Ratter Encouraging us to engage in “steady work” ie resist the temptation of new & shiny ideas or quick fixes.
What an honour to be presented with a lifetime membership of @ADEScotland from the President @laurencefindlay, a longstanding colleague and dear friend. Lovely to see so many fine folk again too.
Day two of the @ADEScotland conference begins with a panel discussion with @sqanews, @EducationScot, @hmiescotland and the Centre for Teaching Excellence. Yesterday’s threads about ‘much reform but little change’ is an important context as we hear from these agencies. #ADES2025
