Wondering how Class Members will receive compensation?
If you’re eligible for compensation, the Administrator will send you a letter to confirm your eligibility along with a Compensation Payment Form.
You’ll need to complete the form to say how you would like to receive payment and send it back to the Administrator.
Payment can be sent through direct deposit or by mailed cheque. The choice is yours.
If you would like the payment to be deposited directly into your bank account, the account must be active and in your name.
The Administrator will process your payment as soon as possible after receiving your form.

Today I joined @ChiefsofOntario and @NANComms to sign a landmark agreement reforming child and family services in Ontario. Through good faith and collaboration First Nations kids in Ontario will have a better chance to succeed, surrounded by their communities and culture.

The agreement includes providing nearly $150 million over five years to Peerless Trout, Loon Lake and Lubicon First Nations from the federal government, helping to bring their children home and affirm their inherent right to self determination over their children and families.
Yesterday in Peerless Trout First Nation, I met with leaders, elders and members of three First Nations in the beautiful new school to sign our agreement to implement Awaśak Wiyasiwêwin, their children's law, representing a new day for the children of these nations.
