“At the very same time that the government refused to give the Negro any land, through an act of Congress our Government was giving away millions of acres of land in the west and the Midwest"
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Black people: you have a right to defend yourself. You do not have to stand around and get hit repeatedly. Yes, the public will identify these two hags, but chances are that nothing tangible will be done about it.
Take care of YOURSELF.
Reading that my grandmother was a slave that ended up inheriting her owners estate and then go on to free those slaves on the property and others .. shid legit made me tear up.. we talking about Louisiana in the 1700s ! We come from amazing people, we are capable of doing anything 💯
Medical Apartheid by Harriet Washington is another #Arutisuse holiday suggestion of mine.
This book delves into the reality of how Black Americans have been subjected to centuries of brutal medical experimentation.
Black Americans (#Freedmen) brought us or helped to bring us:

These anti-black bigots should show some gratefulness around here.

African: YoU rEaLlY lIkE tHaT gEnTrIfIeD aRcHiTeCtUre?
Y’all’s animosity toward us is crazy. I’m left wondering how tf this pan African grift was upheld so long?
In David Oyelowo's latest interview to try to convince peope why HE should be allowed to take every great Black American role away from Black American actors who've been struggling for 100 years - he says:
1. 'Despite not being American, he's always wanted to be a Cowboy.' So I guess the needs and wants of Black American kids don't matter.🤷🏿♀️
2. He says after Taylor Sheridan's Yellowstone was a hit, "the very fear-based, cautious and cowardly Hollywood industry went, 'Oh, OK, this works,'so that way we got to smuggle Bass in." Oh so apparently it WASN'T Racism keeping Hollywood from making a Bass Reeves movie. It was the fact that a Bass Reeves story was a WESTERN. Says the Nigerian.🤨
This is why Hollywood and other industries LOVE black immigrants. They won't call out the racism that Black Americans have been dealing with for 400 years. They'd rather blame Black Americans themselves for their issues rather than make white people angry. Which is WHY you're seeing them all over the place - not just in Hollywood in jobs that are putting them on the top economically.

I’m sure there are things that rub folks the wrong way about @CameronNewton, but the way y’all acted because he called QBs “game managers” was weird to me. Let’s be clear when it comes to quarterback play Cam ain’t “tweeting from his mom’s basement”.
Truth is most analyzing football no longer play, can’t play, never played or never could played, & those folks don’t want that part of their resumes read everytime they have an opinion. Analysis is about perspective and experiences. Here’s Newton’s… Heisman trophy winner, record setting rookie of the year, and league MVP all while his most dynamic weapon ever was a 32 year old Steve Smith. So you don’t have to agree. Hell I don’t, but you sure as hell have to respect the accomplishments of the man making the statement.

On this day in 1897, a mob of 400 white men lynched a Black man named Tom Waller in Lawrence County, Mississippi. They had a large picnic while preparing to hang him. https://t.co/EIpytumhQS
😞 Hip Hop was created by Native Black Americans.
“2023 marks the 50th anniversary of hip-hop, but the origination of the genre continues to be one of the most debated topics in music. Many believe the foundation can be traced back to Africa.”
