I have lost much and suffered more. In life, I was Prince Arkada Dracul, the ruler of all Transylvania. I live in search of one forever lost to me. #DraculaRP
So, you wish to hear a tale. Your mind is spinning with images of kings and princes.
But not every story has a happy ending.
Fewer still are the tales of mirth.
Life doesn’t work out that way.
This is the story of a prince who was cursed with the gift of immortality...
@BloodOfHisBlood “You must listen to me. Van Helsing knows what I am. He looked right through me.
Harker saw that I was different…
There will be others, Cecilia.”
The sun was still high as the guard ran into Castle Dracula. Deep in the crypts, the eternal king awakened.
“Razvan, my good friend.” Dracula remarked, beckoning the man forward, “What brings you here in this state? Where is @BloodOfHisBlood? Is she safe? Is she alright?” -
@BloodOfHisBlood Dracula looked down at his hands.
“You wouldn’t want to know the person I’ve become. I fear it would only drive you from my arms forever, and yet I cannot lie to you.”
@BloodOfHisBlood Dracula nodded, drawing her close in his arms.
He still couldn’t believe that she was real.
“I promise you a better life than what we had, my best beloved one.”
@BloodOfHisBlood Dracula bit his lip.
He was torn.
Ever the strategist, he looked at this situation and saw only pain for his beloved at every turn.
Surely, there was another way. He just had to find it.
@BloodOfHisBlood Arkada faltered. His voice was whisper soft when he spoke; the burden of his nature on his shoulders.
“Time, my lost princess. I need time.”
@BloodOfHisBlood Arkada snapped at her words. They cut like daggers to his heart. His tone was firm, a man on edge.
“I have languished without you for centuries, my beloved. Do you want to hurt me so with your words?”
@BloodOfHisBlood “My dearest one…how can I condemn the woman I love? My love for you is far too great to do such a thing.
No. I tell you that I cannot. It would not be the life you desire. You think that now you wish to share this immortality but you don’t know what you’re asking.”
@BloodOfHisBlood - difficult path.
“To love you means to never put you through my pain, my curse. But how could I ever risk losing you all over again if I do not?”
@BloodOfHisBlood Dracula hesitated. He wanted to believe, but life had taught him the harshest realities possible.
“Heart of my heart, how can you make it all sound so simple?”
He remembered the past, remembered being a young man and eagerly awaiting her every test of him. Now was a more -
@BloodOfHisBlood Dracula shook his head.
He didn’t understand, he could never understand, but he held onto that hope he had whenever he looked into her eyes.
He believed her every word.
“Command me: put me to the test. I need to know what you want.”
@BloodOfHisBlood Eyes closed and moved to the brink of tears, he leaned into her touch.
“I swear to you, I will find a way to prove myself worthy of your heart. I will bend heaven and earth until I do.”
@BloodOfHisBlood Dracula took her hand and pressed it to his lips.
“You are the only dream I have ever had.” He whispered, keeping his head bowed.
If he moved, if he even breathed, she might vanish.
@BloodOfHisBlood “I have wandered in torment without you for five centuries.” he whispered.
Dropping to his knee, he kissed her hand.
“That is my penance for failing you.”
@BloodOfHisBlood His mouth fell agape at her words, words of love, words of hope.
“Give me the chance to prove my worth to you. To win your heart once more. To give you the life that I’d hoped to give you.
That’s all I want. No more, no less.”
