@9NewsQueensland@anniepullar Those pre filled disposable pods are illegal in Oz anyway and border force & the @TGAgovau should be seizing them on importation and the businesses who are doing so fined massively as its giving all the reputable vendors who do the right thing a bad name as well
@CancerCouncilOz Yet you want us vapers to go back to smoking so you & the gov can get the kickbacks from big tobacco & pharma, while the 300,000k vapers get themselves healthier without the help of the government
Those who fear push back the hardest. What is it you fear? Oh we understand, when Australians find a way to really Quit without Big Pharma donors, your job and very existence is under threat. #WeAreNotBigTobacco#WeAreNotBigPharma @SarahWhisar @SimonChapman6@CancerCouncilOz
@SarahWhisar @SanchiaAranda I didn’t say toddlers were buying them, it’s in their reach where they can get them & eat them like lollies. I have heard myself of someone’s 13yr buying them to use themselves, also someone’s 4yr old mention the ‘sun’ on the packers of gum
@MJA_Editor You should go & check out this on the ATHRA website where it gives you helpful advice on how to quit combustible tobacco and switch to vaping rather than using scaremongering tactics to get kickbacks from big tobacco companies & pharma

@MJA_Editor They should track down & throw the book at the dodgy vendor that’s been selling to underage kids. All reputable vendors will ID check anyone that looks to be under the age of 18
@SanchiaAranda @SarahWhisar Why is it a big deal for vapers to get a script for nicotine when these approved NRT’s are available from supermarkets with kids as young as 13 buying them and going through self serve checkouts so no ID checks needed to buy them, plus they’re at ankle height perfect for toddlers
@SanchiaAranda @SarahWhisar They should throw the book at whoever’s supplying underage kids buying Vapes. All of the reputable vendors will ID check anyone who comes into their stores if they look underage
@TakeAPartNow What about these approved NRT’s available at supermarkets without a script and are placed at ankle height so perfect level for toddlers to get them. Kids as young as 13 can also buy them & go through self serve so no ID checks needed
@ColinMendelsohn They should track down & throw the book at whoever’s selling to underage kids. While I don’t condemn kids as young as yr7 vaping, maybe yr10/11, its much healthier than smoking
@MauriceGSwanson@smh@tobaccofreeaust @greghunt @ATHRA_AU@SimonChapman6@ama_media@RACGPPresident They should track down & close down the dodgy vendor that’s selling to underage kids. All reputable vendors ID check if they look under the age of 18, which is legal age to buy vapes & juice. While I don’t commend underage vaping it’s a hell of a lot better than regular smokes
@SarahWhisar Any of these NRT’s are available from the supermarkets without needing a script. 13yr olds can go through self serve checkouts with these meaning that there is no ID checks performed on them, they’re also easily within toddlers reach at ankle height
@SarahWhisar And @SimonChapman6 try getting yourself a script for nicotine to use in your Vape when none of the drs in any of the rural towns 3hrs from Adelaide won’t give you one, which is why i import without a script.
@SimonChapman6 @GregHuntMP Minute traces of nicotine can also be found in the nightshade family of vegetables like potatoes & tomatoes so are you gonna ban those too
@SimonChapman6 @GregHuntMP You want people to go back to smoking so you can get the kickbacks from the big tobacco companies with people buying combustible tobacco again which have thousands of harmful chemicals in them, where as juices only have half a dozen things in them
@SarahWhisar Big tobacco wants to corner the market on vaping just to get the kickbacks from the gov. Myself & more than 300 hundred thousand vapers plus 5 thousand or so vape employees who would’ve lost everything to the ban that @GregHuntMP was trying to enforce
