Forgive me 'beating the same dead horse' yet again, but the entertainment industry keeps proving my point for me. Story about a cartoon based on GOLDEN AXE with a 'feminist' lead, a female character looking NOTHING like the character from the game; just another feminist.
Said it many times that taking a well-regarded title/entertainment universe's concept/label and slapping it on empty 'woke public messaging' will not make people like garbage.
Make material people WANT TO WATCH and you've got a much better chance.
As I said in that mentioned response... you can label sh*t whatever you want. It's still s*it.
Hollywood is totally unwilling to see the damage it's causing itself by refusing to give us original, creatively written minority (super) heroes.
Can name one we've seen in the past right off the top of my head who proves the effort can be profitable, if they'll actually make it past the bare minimum. John Stewart, the Green Lantern. Loved him in the JUSTICE LEAGUE cartoon series.
If the people entertaining us want to give us black superheroes, then why won't they give us ORIGINAL black heroes instead of reusing established character concepts and names?
Said repeatedly all I want to do is make good entertainment. I would say, for example, Hollywood is wasting a lot of capable minority actors by forcing them to the roles of established 'white characters' in hero films.
I have said it repeatedly. If Hollywood is so confident in the abilities of its staff, then WHY does it (apparently) doubt their creativity and originality? Couldn't it be said that they are showing doubt in the salability of minority heroes and villains by refusing to make more of an effort to give them to us? More of an effort than remaking our heroes?
SO much potential wasted.
Help Make Great Entertainment.
DOOMED SCHOLAR STUDIOS
Let me note the site address will be changing in the near future; we are going to be setting up to forward to the new address. I'm not going to post it until everything is 'ready to go', of course.
Below is one of the posters for our first series, FORGOTTEN SON, taking place in the world of THE LAST SURVIVOR(S), a post-apocalyptic universe.
This story is the life of Kyle Elsen, one of the leads of Codename: WINTERBORN, a book authored by myself and Mr. Declan Finn.
That's no surprise. Like I keep hearing in conversations, "They think they can give us whatever they want as long as it has the right actors, the right (known hero) characters, the right storylines and CGI."
There ARE some 'great movies' out there. We're watching them earn money!
Site's getting worked on right now, has been for a while. 69pg. of material, people ask for more and at least for right now we have to keep them waiting.
Second series ready, third, fourth coming. Original artists for all three, new 'worlds' for three and four. (CONTINUES)
Original characters in all three. New heroes and villains, and we don't have any Mary Sues or Marty Stus. We want to make you great entertainment, and we're working hard to do it.
Hollywood keeps wasting our heroes and our time. No interest in entertaining us...

@MbarkCherguia Little sh*t should get nailed for doing this. Should have to pay for all the trouble to the store. Parents should get fined a lot or sued. Kid belongs someplace where they can keep control of him.
@Sairakhansvot If he's hitting you, get out of wherever you're living with him (take any medication or stuff like that and get to someplace safe like a family/friend's house or a shelter) and call the cops. Make sure he gets arrested for what he did. Don't go back until he's gone.
No luck on here getting any notice for the studio I'm part of! I seem to be liked for the answers to math problems, but DSS is, it seems, getting ignored. Reacting a little silly, but when I keep having people tell me how great the artist(s) are, that they like the stories and they want more material up online from my bosses is a way to get pissed.
We've got good stuff, want to get it seen by more people. Think the bosses need to change the .com they're using, told them so.
