Today, after seven years of Delivering a CORE Education, it's time to say goodbye. Thank you to everyone I've worked/interacted with at @COREeducate; it has been fun and rewarding.
From September, it's hello to @WinAcadTrust, as Deputy Headteacher for Academic Excellence!
Today is a special day in Birmingham's history! On July 3rd, 1854, the @bmi1854 was founded with the vision of promoting education, science, and the arts for all.
171 years on, the BMI stands as a testament to enduring intellectual curiosity and cultural enrichment.

🕯️ Honouring Holocaust survivors and ensuring their stories are never forgotten.
At Buckingham Palace, The King met 94-year-old Holocaust survivor Manfred Goldberg and representatives from organisations working to educate future generations about the Holocaust.
His Majesty lit a candle for the Holocaust Memorial Day Trust’s ‘80 Candles for 80 Years’ project and explored new AI and virtual reality tools bringing survivor testimonies and Holocaust sites to life for students. The afternoon ended with a moving performance by Echo Eternal, a project inviting young people to create artistic responses to the testimonies of British Holocaust survivors.
This is of course testament to the hard work of our incredible staff and our Outstanding students. We keep on pushing, and striving for Excellence

I spoke to a few of the students this afternoon, they were already thinking about the future and what they would want to study at @unibirmingham. The visit has clearly ignited a fire in our students, which is often the most rewarding part of these trips.
Students in Year 10 enjoyed a visit to @unibirmingham today. After a tour, they got to visit some of the STEM departments, as well as a chance to observe some of the weird and wonderful robots built in the university itself!

It was fantastic to see Year 10s and 11s getting in early with after school study in the LRC, forming study groups. Students were revising 'An Inspector Calls', Computer Science and Biology. They are surely on their way to excellence if they continue in this vein. @COREeducate
