Suspension of Grassroots Football

The FA has just announced the suspension of ALL games and training for Grassroots football as of Thursday 5th November.

All AEFL games have been marked as postponed for November. We will attempt to reschedule these for later in the season.

We acknowledge the government’s announcement today regarding COVID-19 restrictions and are awaiting further information before we can confirm how this may affect non-elite football across England.

We will communicate any necessary updates in due course.

Playing Friendlies
It’s been noted that there are quite a few friendlies being scheduled for August. Please note that BEFORE any games are played details of your Club's COVID-19 Officer and Risk Assessment MUST be sent to the AEFL. Games MUST not take place before this is done

AEFL Fixtures 14th March 2020

Although the FA has suspended Premiership and EFL games until April 3rd. However, In light of the Government not closing schools or educational establishments (yet) we do not feel it is necessary to totally suspend the AEFL fixtures at this time

KO TIME CHANGES- some teams are still failing to inform the league about changes to KO times which is contrary to league rules. All changes to KO times MUST be reported.
