If you can find an example of a more evil thing on this platform than a man announcing his plan to murder his child for being disabled, go ahead and post it. I can’t think of one.
My name is Renatta, I’m 45 years old, and I have a genetic condition.
Yes, I have some struggles, but I still live a full, productive, and joyful life.
Parents, if your unborn child is diagnosed with a genetic disorder, it isn’t a curse. Please give your child a chance at life. Their life won’t be perfect, but no one’s is. Let your child be a blessing to you and to others. Don’t throw away what God has given you.
This is exactly why the left tries to act like the majority of abortions are rape victims.
They aren't. Not even close.
Less than 1% of abortions are due to rape.
The majority of them are what you saw today.
A couple deciding the innocent child is too inconvenient.
They don't want you to know that because they don't want you to realize how depraved it is and how evil it is.
And they definitely don't want you to know how abortions are done because it will turn your stomach.
It is truly the most evil and depraved practice in the world.
The Venn diagram between people who think you should get fired for using the R word and people who think you should be able to euthanize your child if it has Down syndrome is almost a circle
Just learned that the couple who aborted their baby for having Downs was a) documenting the story for weeks for clicks and b) has a disabled dog they've spent tons of $$ keeping alive. Anyone who pretends this is some morally gray issue rather that straight-up evil is either stupid or lying.
As I've pondered this over the last few days, I keep thinking about something Clay Jones wrote. In his book, "Why Does God Allow Evil?", Jones points out that when we think of genocide, we think of demented psychopaths running around on murderous rampages. In reality, genocide is mostly committed by normal everyday people including moms, dads, and sweet grandmas who bake cookies for the bake sale.
Jones writes: "It has been fascinating to me that absolutely every genocide researcher I have ever read (and I’ve read a lot of them) and absolutely every genocide victim I’ve ever read—to a person—concludes that genocide is what the average person does...
Professor and Holocaust survivor Fred E. Katz sums up exactly what kind of person participated in the Holocaust. He wrote that 'only a tiny proportion' of the 'massive killings are attributable to the actions of those people we call criminals, or crazy people, or socially alienated people, or even, people we identify as evil people.' Rather, they were actually 'carried out by plain folk in the population—ordinary people, like you and me.'
Katz asks, Who carried out the plans of the 'Hitlers and Stalins'?
His conclusion: 'Ordinary people, like you and me.'
Then he asks, 'Who provides the intelligence, the brain power, the orderly thinking to translate crazy philosophies into a practical course of action?
Ordinary people, like you and me.'
Finally, 'Who provides the quiet sustained effort, the plain hard work it takes to carry out huge programs of murderous action?
Ordinary people, like you and me.'"
One of the reasons the post below is so chilling and horrifically evil is because it is so casual, ordinary, and "nice."
May God have mercy on us.
You are not the victim here. You used your baby for content and profit until you realized he wouldn’t be your preferred “outcome.” You exploited him, then you had him killed, then you used his murder to make more content. It’s grotesque and quite heartbreaking.
Imagine a post like this, but instead of referring to an unborn baby, he’s referring to his Down Syndrome toddler. Everyone would be aghast and enraged.
Yet the only differences between a toddler and an unborn baby are age and location. These aren’t reasons to kill someone outside the womb, so they don’t work as reasons to kill someone inside the womb, either.
No euphemisms or sympathetic language can mask the reality that killing a baby is brutal, painful, and evil.
People with special needs are no less valuable - and therefore no less deserving of life - than people without special needs.
Despite Jesse’s attempt to center this murder on his and his wife’s feelings, the truth is, in every abortion scenario, the primary - and typically only - victim is the baby. He or she deserves all of our sympathy and advocacy.
Claiming that scripture requires you not to speak sharply to people who film unboxing videos of their child’s down syndrome test, who then proudly announce that they have now murdered that child because of said disability (and all of this monetized) is some kind of demented, unbiblical version of Christianity I don’t even have words.
Should we not speak sharply to the rapist then? How about the pedophile? Is it fair to sharply condemn their acts to them?
Yes, I want all of those people to come to Christ. But do you think that happens by letting them think that what they did wasn’t all that bad?
Is this how you witness to other people? Tell them that they’re pretty good, but a little Jesus will make them even better?
The West is a Judeo-Christian civilization, built upon the ruins of antiquity. The great Greco-Roman civilization of the classical era fell because it lacked a sufficient moral and spiritual foundation to endure. The Greeks and Romans were deeply impacted by the Jews, but ultimately they were pagan. Our civilization is upheld by the word of God, given to the gentile world via the Jews. Our core beliefs are not arbitrary but come directly from God, recorded by the Jews in the Old and New Testament, given to the whole world. Antisemitism is the ideology of barbarism, totalitarianism, fanaticism and all who want to destroy our civilization in order to create a new world order based on atrocity, inhumanity and oppression. Shalom.
Nebraska values matter to the people of our state.
Today, I signed a proclamation recognizing June as Marriage and Family Month in Nebraska.
This is an opportunity to celebrate moms, dads, kids — and the strong families that serve as the backbone of our state and nation.
We will continue to stand up for Nebraska values and support families.
