Hey Steelers fans...you know you're allowed to keep 3 OLBs right? Heck, don't sleep on Sawyer. More the better, rotation, injuries, etc. TBH more concerned about the ILB, didn't address in draft/FA. But likely high on draft list next year. And we'll deal with OLBs then too
Actually thinking of breaking my boycott (spend min $100m) & going vs Dodgers. Wanted to see Griffin, but also Ohtani. Hope he's back by then, may be close. Also, amazing what happens when you spend more $ (should be $125m +- $25m). And next year hopefully at least $171m! 🤞

Sources: The #Steelers and TE Darnell Washington have agreed to a 4-year, $42m extension.
The massive tight end has developed into a key piece of Pittsburgh's offense and has been everything the Steelers hoped for when they drafted him.

@TheKingSourceN Tampa, Steelers, Green Bay, Kansas City, Seattle, etc in NFL. Tampa, Florida, Carolina, Pens, etc NHL. Oklahoma city, San Antonio, Cleveland, etc for NBA. Not to mention, the small markets were able to keep stars if they wanted, thus they can compete.
For the record: KC 2015 last small market title, sold pieces. Before that, FLA 1997, bought and sold right after, then CIN 1990.... that's really when the divergence started. Sure some teams are good like TB, CLE, but can't keep anyone & get bounced in playoffs vs big $$
MLB controls players 6 yrs, pay peanuts, compared other leagues. It IS being manipulated! Instead of FA, get cheap 1-3 yr guys, most stink. If union REALLY cared, fight for 4 yrs, then FA. Players get paid MORE in a cap/floor system, esp lower & mid guys. Top will always get $$$
@JackC405 They are doing that now with cheap 1-3 year players. Cap & floor make them spend to the floor. But to do that, need 50/50 revenue split with MLB already offered
@TurkStevens The union is blatantly lying to players. The system caters to the stars, meanwhile the stars will be top paid in any system as they should.
@TurkStevens MLB pay will increase vs total payroll in 2026. And yes, they will through growth. Now, they are being suppressed esp like I said, they pay crappy 1-3 yr guys, most don't deserve to be in the majors. There is no FA frenzy in MLB cause limited participation.
@TurkStevens Hockey was really messed up so they did have to take a step back. NHL is now as healthy as it's ever been. The low attendance is like 90%. All teams are thriving. Record cap next year, keeps going up. MLB won't need to take a step back.
